    Kissing kanthal goodbye?

I thought the same thing. .92 is what it reads. I thought it should be way lower. I just did the + - thing. I'm an idiot. It just dropped to .08. I'm going to rebuild and reset. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks man

    Kissing kanthal goodbye?

Well by no meana am I throwing in the towel just yet. I have a question though: I built the first coil, 14 wraps 2.5 mm 28 awg. Came out to .92 I think. Second coil exact same thing, my ohms didnt change when I put it in. Shouldn't it have dropped to about a .45?

    Kissing kanthal goodbye?

Stopped at the local vape shop to get some pointers on ni200. Got about 5 feet of 28 awg to take home and try out. Not super impressed just yet. Only time will tell I guess.

    Wow, you can do that?

    Kissing kanthal goodbye?

Exactly. Hopefully it's just not proven with a massive kill off or cancer surge lol. Either way I still feel very confident that it's a way safer alternative to cigs!

    Kissing kanthal goodbye?

Hopefully I like the ni200. Titanium is much more expensive.

    Kissing kanthal goodbye?

Well I already have the mod. Why not spend the $5 for a roll of Ni200 and take a swing. Worse case scenario it sucks and I go right back to what I'm doing now.

    Kissing kanthal goodbye?

That's a great way to space the coils. I'll certainly be using that handy little trick

    Kissing kanthal goodbye?

What kind of coils work best for the Ni? It seems most people use a loose coil format. I'll be building and dripping on my velocity so space isnt really an issue for me. Got any pics?

    Kissing kanthal goodbye?

I consider myself moderately experienced at vaping now. Been doing it since 4 November 2013. I have finally decided to switch to temperature control recently. I am awaiting my first roll of Ni200 28 awg to arrive in the vapemail. To those that have made the switch, is it all that it claims to...

    Super high ohm vaping

I consider it to be very high ohm. Two 3.15 ohm coils. Takes a lot of voltage to get it moving compared to the sub ohms I was vaping.

    Super high ohm vaping

May have been a bit of an overstatement. You just don't hear much about 3+ ohm coils anymore. I've got to crank it at over 6 volts to get a solid vape out of her.

    Super high ohm vaping

    Yes it is.

For all the battery concerns and comments...this is after a 12 hour day and probably 5ml of juice

    Super high ohm vaping

I recently quit the compressed coils just because I seem to have more glitches with them. Loose coils don't get wonky on me as easy.
