I thought the same thing. .92 is what it reads. I thought it should be way lower.
I just did the + - thing. I'm an idiot. It just dropped to .08.
I'm going to rebuild and reset. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks man
Well by no meana am I throwing in the towel just yet.
I have a question though:
I built the first coil, 14 wraps 2.5 mm 28 awg. Came out to .92 I think.
Second coil exact same thing, my ohms didnt change when I put it in. Shouldn't it have dropped to about a .45?
Stopped at the local vape shop to get some pointers on ni200. Got about 5 feet of 28 awg to take home and try out. Not super impressed just yet.
Only time will tell I guess.
Exactly. Hopefully it's just not proven with a massive kill off or cancer surge lol. Either way I still feel very confident that it's a way safer alternative to cigs!
Well I already have the mod. Why not spend the $5 for a roll of Ni200 and take a swing. Worse case scenario it sucks and I go right back to what I'm doing now.
What kind of coils work best for the Ni? It seems most people use a loose coil format. I'll be building and dripping on my velocity so space isnt really an issue for me. Got any pics?
I consider myself moderately experienced at vaping now. Been doing it since 4 November 2013. I have finally decided to switch to temperature control recently. I am awaiting my first roll of Ni200 28 awg to arrive in the vapemail.
To those that have made the switch, is it all that it claims to...
May have been a bit of an overstatement. You just don't hear much about 3+ ohm coils anymore. I've got to crank it at over 6 volts to get a solid vape out of her.
