While I am NOT saying this happened - it CAN happen. When I fly, my tanks leak (regardless if they are on or off the device). They do not leak much but it does come out the connector end. Opus short circuit protection is same as Darwin's because Opus is using Evolv DNA inside. Just no display to tell you the other two indicators so your ONLY indicator is no fire. If that happens, same as above in my last post. ALL adapters ARE disposable in that they will NOT last forever...- NebulaBrot

Just for general information - if the Darwin shorts you see three indications. The first thing is the device will not fire. The second is the battery gauge goes to empty. Like the others, I use the standard 2.8Ωs. While vaping is 100% subjective, I have yet to find any LR gear I enjoy. Technically speaking, watts are watts but I most certainly DO find a difference vaping my 8.5 (ish) watts using higher resistance with higher volts vs LR with lower voltages.- NebulaBrot

FWIW - I use 801/fusion cartos in phiniac tanks mostly and they fit on Opus with no problems either. You need a 510 to 801 adapter and I use the shorty/stealth ones.- NebulaBrot

Do not know for FACT but you might consider looking into the DCA for the i06. I do not use them but if they are the same as the other DCAs, I think they take the 510 driptips (not to mention more leak proof). Could be a winning combo for you - certainly worth looking into.- NebulaBrot

Pretty sure bombshell has an internal diameter wider then Evolv's max limitation of 19.5mm. Anything larger can allow the kick to move around and cause connection problems.
