Ask me no questions and I'll tell you no lies!! BTW - yes, this IS the signature one I mentioned recently!

The Kick from Evolv--coming to Electronicstix!

Here is another post I wrote to help someone in another thread. Maybe it might help you too: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/super-t-manufacturing/298071-new-super-t-tanbur-ss-contoured-t-tips-13.html#post6558944 Was a bit off-topic for the thread but someone asked so...

The Kick from Evolv--coming to Electronicstix!

Jamie, You are asking for instructions on Ohms Law. This would be a long response. I'll try to keep it short and if you have questions you can send me a private message and I will try to assist you further. When we put a given resistance atty on a battery of a certain voltage, the combination...

Nhaler Announces, The Kick by EVOLV!!!

Tony, I did not mean to sound critical. However, I have been close to the Kick development and testing process from the beginning. You would be amazed how many use the kick out of spec and then seem to think Evolv should be replacing the kicks these people are damaging - simply because they do...

Nhaler Announces, The Kick by EVOLV!!!

Can't really begin to guide you as your post lacks much relevant detail. Probably not many will be able to assist you for the same reasons. I do not know which batteries you are using (you state model numbers but not brand/versions). You mention the black 16340s and those are not IMR. 16340...

Nhaler Announces, The Kick by EVOLV!!!

Just remember, The Evolv website Kick page clearly states the internal diameter needs to be 19.5mm max. The Kick – Instructions « Evolv While adding tape, shims or anything to "bulk" or otherwise jerry-rig a kick to fit a device may allow it to work - it also voids the Kick's warranty...

    What's better

As I said, these are all personal opinions with absolutely zero basis on anything other than personal preferences. Form factor, batteries, etc. Battery ratings can be manipulated, this is simple fact. Lithium Poly cells tend to be more true to mah ratings than prism cells (tubular shaped...

    What's better

As has been stated, there have been many many threads making this comparison. "better" or "best" is completely subjective. Anyone who says this one or that one is "better" or "best" is merely telling their personal preference. Which is better - 901, 801, 510, attys, cartos, tanks...

    The Darwin From Evolv!!!

Sorry - no "extra" Darwins here! However, I doooo have an original blue signature Darwin with white screen. Hmmmmm, given the recent discussion in this thread - lets say $35,999.99?? :matrix: :rickroll:

    The Darwin From Evolv!!!

This is a valid point. Darwins have been in production for close to 19 months now. When buying from C'fieds it makes sense to verify the original purchase date as a means of determining how long is left on the 2 yr warranty and 1 yr on the batts. If the seller cannot verify the original...

    GLV2 and EVOLV Kick possible?

You could, and it voids the kick warranty. Actually even using GLV in its current configuration voids the kick warranty as it is out of spec for the kick. Any use of kicks outside of the description on the Evolv website voids the kick warranty. As I said, I would have no problem taking the...

    GLV2 and EVOLV Kick possible?

Brodie - as I said, I looked at the device very carefully. The XL mini tube is cut to fit the black AW ICR battery. That battery is a bit longer than the IMR battery. So, when you remove the ICR and replace it with an IMR 18490 and kick (combo is same length as IMR 18650) there is still some...

    GLV2 and EVOLV Kick possible?

Not sure what you mean by "adjustable". Nothing I am suggesting includes any adjustability. To Clarify: GLV currently cuts the XL mini to fit the AW black ICR 18650. This battery is just a little bit longer than the IMR batteries. Kick REQUIRES IMR batteries (IMR/high drain offers both the...

    GLV2 and EVOLV Kick possible?

It is a perfect diameter for the kick. Only problem is the XL mini tube is cut to length for the Black AW ICR batt which is just a bit longer than the IMR. This makes the tube just a tiny bit too long for solid lengthwise connection - I tried it. If GLV wants a kickable version they need to...

New By Super-T: The Tanbur SS Contoured T-Tips!

Revolver, it sort of depends on what you are using. There can be some variance but not much. I do not think Kick can reduce voltage (but I have seen some lower readings) and batts do come off chargers over charged. If the combo you are using starts off at over 10 watts, you may get over 10...

    The Darwin From Evolv!!!

contact Evolv - sounds like you may have an issue. I am not 100% sure but it sounds like this may be the symptoms of continuing to try to activate with a short but I am not sure. either way, that sounds like Darwin and not the adapter. But you can always try another different adapter.

    The Darwin From Evolv!!!

the indicator on the screen is a short circuit emblem (looks sort of like a no smoking sign). This, and the non-fire, is the Darwin telling you it is detecting a short circuit and it stops firing to protect the Darwin and you. Continuing to try to use the Darwin with a short - trying over and...

    The Darwin From Evolv!!!

Doubt your Darwin is "past" warranty. It may be voided from opening, having it opened for custom powder-coat/polish, or may be untraceable to original purchase (also voids warr) but the device warranty is 2 years and the batt warranty is 1 yr. Evolv will replace the batt for $25 and gives it a...

New By Super-T: The Tanbur SS Contoured T-Tips!

First and foremost, from the Evolv kick page: Our Products « Evolv Second, 3.7 volt batts may come off a charger at 4.2 (mine usually 4.16 or 4.17) but they do not stay there for long. They are 3.7 volt batteries and drop to that level very quickly after the first few activations. The kick...

The Opus and Opus D with Evolv inside!

well, yes and no. The kick has marked numbers for the settings. You have to look closely but there are actually lines from the numbers going in towards the potentiometer that show a more exact alignment for the pointer on the kick pot. some of thm turn at an angle so you have to look closely...
