Attack of the (Kayfun Mini V3) Clones!

I solved part of the problem by tightening the deck onto the base as Ricks suggested above (using the hex nut below). Thank you Ricks and everyone else for helping. Now onto building a right handed coil.... Still confused why that should make a difference, but we shall see...

Attack of the (Kayfun Mini V3) Clones!

Man, I am getting dislecsic trying to see the difference between a left-handed vs right-handed turn. If I use a screw to wind my coil, should I go clock wise to get a left handed coil? Also it seems I misunderstood Swampus about the legs coming from the top. I thought he meant flipping the coil...

Attack of the (Kayfun Mini V3) Clones!

The coil in the picture is coming off the bottom. I think Swampus was suggesting to flip the coil so the legs would come off the top instead. The wire in the picture is 29 gauge around 3 mm. I have always had trouble with positioning the legs so they would go clockwise. They end up crossing the...

Thanks for the idea. I had thought of doing that some time ago, but didn't want to go against conventional practice.... In fact it would be much easier to install the coil upside down.

Attack of the (Kayfun Mini V3) Clones!

I think it's a 3mm coil, perhaps 2.5mm. I may try a smaller diameter, but isn't it normal for condensation to accumulate inside the center post? I was thinking everyone had this problem - or not?

Here it is. The center post is sitting 1+ mm above the base, preventing juice from getting inside.

Attack of the (Kayfun Mini V3) Clones!

Has anyone found a way to minimize condensation getting inside the air hole? I am getting a very slight gurgling or hissing sound after going through 1/3 of the tank. I blow out the excess liquid, and things go back to normal until that hissing-gurgling sound comes back again. I have had this...

Counterfeit/Low Grade LG HG2 Test Results

Thanks for that; now I definitely know mine is not an authentic - even though it came from a reputable seller. VapeNW has since sent a replacement, but it is no different from the first.

Counterfeit/Low Grade LG HG2 Test Results

I am going through 5 Ml's of juice vaping at 12 watts before my LG HG2 completely drains out. Is that considered normal? The mod I am using is Eleaf's Pico; coil is 1.2 ohms. Sorry if I have asked this question before ...

    Eleaf iStick "pico"

That is what I thought .... I have ordered a Samsung from Fasttech as comparison. Should be here in a few days, but I am not sure if that one will also be a fake - even though they claim it is authentic.

    Eleaf iStick "pico"

Now that you ask, I am not sure whether my LG is fake or not. I suspect it is. They were kind enough to send a replacement, but the second one is also a suspect. I don't have the necessary gear for a test, but basically, each battery lasts around 5 ml of juice vaping at 12 watts. Perhaps others...

    Ask The Chemist

I have always wondered why certain flavors change color when mixed with nic. Neither one changes color in their original bottles; only when they are mixed. Could it be that the flavorings expedite nic oxidation? It only happens with some flavors - not all.

    Eleaf iStick "pico"

It turns out the battery indicator on the Pico may not be accurate for every brand of battery. The empty light on mine has been flashing all day, but still, I have been vaping it for close to three hours without charging !! I am using the LG HG2.

Very strange; their Vanilla for Pipe comes in original bottle but Dark for Pipe does not .... It would be nice if they specified that in their descriptions. I have seen some vast differences between the original and repackaged - different taste, different color.

I haven't read your other posts, but have you checked your O-rings? Sometimes they are faulty, shot or need to be lubed.

I received a bottle of Inawera Dark for Pipe which appears to be rebottled. It has no expiration date or batch number like my other orders. The label is also different. Doesn't look like the original. Is this what everyone else has received?

I am having similar problems with leaking inside the center post. Other than condensation, the best I can guess is liquid dripping down the hole from the wick. Or else from the wires that connect the coil to the screws. They sometimes partially cover the hole. Juice can then run from the wick on...

I have tried FA Burley, and it does have a realistic tobacco taste. Just not my type of flavor since it reminds me of those cheap cigars I used to buy at the gas station. Some of their other tobaccos are excellent. Max Blend is quite good with a realistic tobacco taste way in the background -...
