Anyone tried the steeping in pg for 3 months method?

Not much Nic comes through the extraction on a per ml basis, so no cause for concern.

    FA Nonna Cake

Gonna Cake to me taste almost like the regular pound cake you buy at the super market - a hint of vanilla and perhaps a bit of nutty flavor.

    Best tobacco for flavor extraction

For those interested in Nicotaina Rustica, it is now available at Leaf Only. Very strong tobacco with high nicotine content. Nothing like the regular tobacco we are all used to. I categorize it as exotic tobacco .... Nicotiana Rustica Wild Tobacco Aztec Tobacco Ucuch mapacho thuoc lao

I read somewhere that mineral oil is also a safe lubricant to use on o-rings. The trick is to lube several times with any lubricant. I use vg myself. To test for vacuum leak, I cover all the holes and draw some air. If the vacuum stays for a few seconds when covering the drip tip with my...

Sounds like either have a vacuum leak or your tails might be too short. Have you lubed the o-rings? In my experience the tails slightly covering the juice holes is not a problem- but of course I thin down the end slightly. Another problem might be that your air flow control is too loose. Hope...

I had a similar problem with Rayon getting darker on one side. Traced the problem to one of the tails being thicker (or more dense) than the other. This could easily happen when you condense your cotton at one end in order to get it into the coil.

According to Steam Engine just the opposite is true. Thinner wire generates more heat per inch than does heavier gauge. Check the "Heat Flux" feature in Steam Engine. Higher gauge, lower heat index.

I love Jack Knife but don't know which category it belongs to. Mild smokey flavor without too much of that grassy note that comes from many tobaccos.

    Best tobacco for flavor extraction

Some people use a small percentage of alcohol in their mix to improve throat hit. Is that the flavor you are after? If you want whiskey or rum, I suppose you can try soaking your tobacco in your favorite brand before you extract. I have seen that done with maple syrup or molasses.

I love Seven Leaves, but it is a tough one to steep. I use it at 2.5%. Very curious to see how it works out for you.

Seed steeping cuts down my steeping time by as much as 75%. If a magnetic stirrer can do better, then by all means, go for it. I personally remain skeptical.

I understand the orangish stuff is rust from the iron content of Kanthal. I switched to Nichrome for that very reason. I understand it has less iron and more aluminum. But then again aluminum is more reactive than iron. Can't win either way !!

    Natural Tobaccos - Part Deux

Does anyone know a tobacco that doesn't have that funky-grassy-hayish taste? I have tried many Virginias and they all seem to have it. Burley also has it but to a lesser extent. Of all the NETS I have tried, Patriot from Goodejuice comes without that funkiness. I wonder what goes inside, but the...
