    I have tried Perique all by itself, and it ranks among the top for flavor. The good part is, only 4% will give you a real flavorful vape. Sometimes I add 1-2% Virginia as an enhancement. Most people do it the other way - More Virginia and less Perique.

    It just proves everyone is different when it comes to taste. I sometimes cheat by rolling a joint, and prefer the RYO version much better. Perhaps that is because they are cut differently - the RYO is cut much finer.

    If you like Turkish 84, you will love Turkish Export. It's specifically made for smoking as a cigarette, instead of pipe. They are similar in profile though.

    Tobacco leaves usually need time to cure but that probably applies only to smoking. I am not sure if it applies to extractions.

    I mix FA's Perique or Latakia at 1% or less. Any higher, and I get a pungent taste.

    I have tried both and there is Noooo comparison. Love the NET. FA's version is good below 1%, otherwise it becomes too pungent.

    I think you will be OK, but if you are concerned about mold, you can ask LeafOnly not to spray the leaves as they usually do before packing them into plastic bags.

    According to their website, some of their leaves might carry a bit of mold. They suggest cutting out the affected portion. I store mine in a plastic bag with some tissue inside to absorb moisture. Have not had a problem after several months of storage.

    Both Latakia and Perique have a pungent taste at around the 1% mark - but I have only tried the Flavor Art versions. As I understand it, INW borrows some of their flavors from FA.
