If you can go as high as 20%, then it must not be a strong extract or tobacco-absolute like I thought it was. It probably is on par with other ordinary tobacco absolutes on the market. I can vape those at 20% myself with no trouble at all. I wonder why their website recommends no higher than 2%...
I ordered two tobaccos from Nude Nicotine just out of curiosity. Are they coil gunkers? What % do I mix Virginia or Honey Tobacco? I prefer a medium taste.
I usually add water after the reduction, but even then, I get a tiny bit of residue that does not dissolve. The amount is minimal, and it goes away with shaking. I think 10% might be a bit too high for DIY NETS.
How does one buy Honey Tobacco from Nude Nicotine without a wholesale account? It's not listed in their retail section.
Never mind; found it. Confusing website ... I wonder how they came up with that name for the company anyway. What does nudity have to do with nicotine? Just saying.
Indeed it could. It has happened to me whenever I have used water in the reduction process (with ISO alcohol), but not when I use a small amount in my final mix. Can't tell from your post - did you use water in the reduction process or in your final mix? Seems unusual that it only happens with...
I hear oxidized Nic is equally potent as unoxidized - just two different forms of the same thing (I believe.)
As for the lumps you have reported, they probably are flavor particles which percipidated out of the solution. It happens when you reduce your extract beyond a certain limit.
Try RTS, I hear they have an excellent product. It contains 50% TA - Virginia Variety similar to the old TPA.
RTS Vapes- DIY Electronic Cigarette Supplies – Liquid Nicotine
Or this one. It is a different type of tobacco called Nicotaina Rustica. Brown paste which you would dilute with...
Just mixed 7 Leaves at 2.2% and waiting for the flavor to develop. Will report back in approximately 2 weeks - or sooner if I have any results. I can tell from the smell that it is very similar to Flavor Art's version of the flavor with the same name - perhaps even identical....
In fact I have noticed that some tobaccos require much more crockpot time. Otherwise some of the flavor might stay behind. A higher temperature might do the job - although I am reluctant to go beyond 160 degrees. My experience though is limited to dry leaves rather than cased/flavored pipe...
McClelland Blending Perique - PipesandCigars.com
This one is probably the real thing - from Saint James Parish. At least it says so in the description. It tastes exactly like it is supposed to.
Thank you very much Str8vision for that list - a big menu to choose from. I think I will start with the Missouri Meerschaum you mentioned. Nick does not list that as an ingredient in the description of Patriot - perhaps for good reason :) ... And oh yeah, a bit of Perique definitely does not...
So am I. The first cigarette I ever tried was an English type. Sweet talked my English teacher, who was British, into letting me try one of her smokes.
Has anyone worked with Latakia before? I am wondering what else it goes with besides Virginia. It's a smokey type tobacco best used in small quantities with other varieties.
Found this video on P&C. Pardon the corny music, but it shows how Latakia is processed in a warehouse filled with smoke...
Thank you both for your suggestions. I tried the adapter and the brass threads are too far gone. I will get a new 30 watt and keep this one for parts. Any other mods similar to the iStick that might perform better? I vape right around 12 watts with a 1.3 ohm coil, but sometimes go down to 8...
Does anyone know why some of my tanks will no longer screw on to the mod? I have tried rising the center pin with no luck. Also tried raising the threads on the iStick. Strangely enough, it works with some of my kayfuns but not with others. Threads on the tanks will not catch the threads on the...
Thanks, I have 7Leaves on the way and will post the results once it is steeped. The Flavor Art's version is very very good, although it takes weeks to mature - even with the crockpot. It has a slightly fruity type tobacco flavor for which Perique leaves are known.
