    Serpent RTA by WOTOFO

I'd bet the leaking is from your wicking. Since I got my black Serpent I've always had some weaping around the AFC, not bad but there. I added the o-ring on the base & it didn't help so I learned to live with it since it was always there. The last rewicking I did has absolutely no weaping, it is...

I don't use it either but you'll be on this list since it's based at ECF. Tom takes care of us around here.

    Geekvape Griffin RTA!

Perfect! Just did a twisted 28awg SS 316L build, 3mm coming in at .19 & it's rocking on the RX200. Loads of flavor AND vapor!

    Geekvape Griffin RTA!

Thanks, I already did another build, 2.5mm this time so I had a little less cotton. I'll trim it back & little more then see how I feel.

    Geekvape Griffin RTA!

I did 6 wrap spaced 26/32 claptons at everywhere from 40-80 watts. Lots of ramp up time at the lower watts which I expected. I also jammed a ton of cotton bacon in there so that may be a factor to the lack of flavor as well.

    Geekvape Griffin RTA!

Finally received my black Griffin, threw it in the ultrasonic for a half hour & built it. I did a 3mm spaced clapton build coming in at .40 & meh, the flavor isn't really there. Stupid simple to wick & ran the coils low to the air intakes, should I run the coils higher or lower for more flavor...

The Atomic is the RM-4 but I believe back in the day Tom modded the Atomic? He may still have one in his stock pile somewhere? I just know Tom is sitting on a boat load of atty's that he should post up for sale sometime, I bet you it's a gold mine for old school flavor atty's ;)

I'd say for an older Atty the Atomic might be a good choice for you or for a new one the SOD5K is a good choice. The SOD5K is a 22mm Atty with an interesting deck design, works best (IMO) with a single coil, tight MTL draw & excellent flavor.

EHPro Bachelor RTA - single coil

I run my DIY liquid usually at 20/80 but have one or two that I've done at 30/70, any of them are fine really. The tank doesn't seem to care as long as it's wicked properly. Edit- I use cotton bacon.

Agreed, the glass is super cheesy & part of my hesitation but everything else looks solid so I'll take a shot with one. We need more low cost atty's but at what cost? Are there many choice's out there? Probably not enough that Tom feel's confident in so if he feel's there's potential with this...

Steeping makes all the difference in the world IMO as far as rounding out a juice & getting rid of harshness.

Another thing to note is that most commercial juices are extremely sweet (which I prefer) but also tends to mute individual flavor's. When you mix your own you control the sweetness which allows more of the flavor to come through, adding marshmallow is an easy trick to boost the sweetness...

You can use either custard as a base then add fruit to your liking. If you click on the ingredients, say a fruit flavor you like from a particular mfr it will have a drop down that tells you the usual percentage that it's used in mixes making it a decent starting point.

I only use the highest rated recipes that follow a specific flavor profile or it can become overwhelming. If you're a custard fan definitely try Grant's my way or third world custard, both are awesome IMO.

Check out eliquid recipes dot com & get yourself a scale. I just started making my own & the scale was the easiest method to use, besides being consistent it makes clean up super quick. I've been making amazing juices that I am so happy with that I have about 300ml's of store bought juice that...
