How many of you would commit to a Releaux dna200 converted to 133w bottomfed? Evidently wholesale is out and the best price I have found is $150 with batteries. Due to the fact that these will take a few hours each to build I would do them for $250. I'm just trying to get an idea of how many we...
The DNA200 chip has to be used because it can be wired to run on dual 18650's with a max of 133 watts, the RX200 uses a proprietary chip that so far no one has messed with enough to see if it can be made to run on dual 18650's vs tripple's. Plus the DNA200 while being a little more money has a...
I just did this one earlier in the week & it's good but a little too much kiwi for me, next time I'm swapping the percentage between kiwi & strawberry to get the strawberry in the forefront with kiwi in the back.
Please, please, please do a conversion. I can't put my RX200 down, it fit's in the hand so perfect that it has to be held to be believed, a Cam-M squonk version would be better than being the first guy in line at the glory hole.....
Thank you for that but yep, I realize he was referring to the DNA but I have also read here that some people are also charging their RX200's with the latest software via USB so I was wondering if that is the way to go with the new sleeve on.
Up until this point I've been removing the batteries in my RX200 to charge them but now that I put a silicone cover on mine maybe I should charge via USB if it's safe?
The mod fired weak at 11% remaining on the battery indicator. When the battery is weak it starts to throttle back wattage in a similar fashion to the DNA40. It took less than 45 minutes to charge back up to 100%. I got 385 "puffs" according to the puff counter which equaled out to 4 tanks at 4ml...
I thought about it for a while but seeing how I'm currently on a list for a DNA 200 squonker that also won't have a replaceable battery pack I figured I'd have to adjust my thought process eventually any way. This was a cheap enough investment that once the battery dies I can throw it out...
Here are some size comparison pics, I haven't broken out the scale yet to weigh it but the Athena for obvious reason's is heavier. Here are some side by side vs the Clownstick & one shot with the RX200 to put it all into scale.
I'm anti internal battery myself but took a chance & picked up the Athena, so far so good but it's only been a day. For my hands I actually prefer the larger size of the Athena since I can hold it easier without blocking the air intakes of the tank.
The build quality on mine is nice, no rough...
I'll be sure to comment in the appropriate thread but so far I am loving the Athena. It's a little bigger but the battery life is stellar. So far I have 236 "puffs" & the battery indicator has barely dropped off of 100% vaping on TC yesterday & 35 watts last night into this morning. Maybe my...
Hmm, you'll need some high temp hose & I doubt you can locally source some living in Egypt, I can't source it locally in NH either. Maybe Tom will chime in with the exact size & temp rating? In the meantime you can try to trim the hose you do have a little shorter? Hopefully it doesn't sink the...
