    It could be done safely with some thought. The fans could use a fusible link inside the box connecting them to their power source, fire would melt the fusible link and kill the fans, then the halon system would activate and extinguish the fire .:)

    Thanks for the reply , I've read a few things about Gearbest , but placed a small order of 8.00 to test the waters . I sent them an email, still waiting on a response. I'll give them a fair chance of 6 weeks which is forever, then I'll chock it up as a loss.

    If you need some organic cotton and a little wire I will send you some. Just take your time, I'm still fairly new at building coils but I'm getting it down. Nothing replaces practice and hands on training.

    Stick with it and have a little patience, they're great tanks that are usually very user friendly. Don't give up yet! The RBA is where these things shine if you have the new version and the patience to build your own coils. ( don't forget an ohm tester)

    Snug up the coil in the tanks base, and snug up the connection from the tank to mod. SNUG, not gorilla tight.

    Coil not seated all the way? Tank not screwed down and making contact? When I used the factory coils they would read higher occasionally , some would drop after use. Could be the Coil or your mod. Even my Kanger Subbox would read the Kanger coils high .

    One in, one out? Probably overkill, but they're Stupid simple to install/wire and it would keep the contents cool. Would that add "fuel" the fire so to speak if a charger or battery went .... up in the can?

    I personally haven't had any good results above 35 MAX wattage with any of the stock coils, it gets worse with high VG. Try it at lower watts when it's new and then increase the power as it breaks in. You may also want to add just a drop or two of water if you're using 70% VG or more. I don't...

    I Leave my batteries charging while I sleep, right next to my head on a nightstand. Guess I'll stop that right now. I'm thinking ammo can with a computer fan mounted at the top and vent on the opposite side for heat control.
