I have had that happen to me and it is the same, I need to unscrew the base and screw it back in. I do not have a reason yet... and I still love it. The RBA base is in the air and should be here mid next week. :-) -

I am afraid I can't compare for you. I am sorry. I can only tell you that I need to screw in that screw a long way for the draw to be as tight as I like it. We should develop a measurement for that. -

It is wider than the iStick (I have one to compare it to), but the iStick will have some atty on top and the eGrip is self contained. It measures about 3 x 1.75 without the drip tip. -

I disassembled one to check out a port issue. You could pull the top and pull the tank completely out, but it sure would be easier to rinse with say a dropper... -

Hey there! I would say vapor is a bit better in the eGrip I had a bit of adjusting of wattage and air to get it feeling right....and nothing beats the flavor of a C head for me, but the eGrip is more than fine.
