kayfun 3.1 shorting out when I screw chimney down

The problem I had on my first build was that the wick got caught in the threads of the chimney when I screwed it down and it pulled the coil onto the deck and caused a short. Combine that with not waiting for the alcohol that I cleaned it with to dry and messed up wicking and POOF!! a small...

Sucking up E-Liquid, driving me nutts!!

I think you mean it's gurgling? It's a common problem with bottom coil clearos caused by condensation and solved by a change in draw style. When you take a pull let off the button a little before you finish the draw to clear the vapor out of the tube so it doesn't condense and flood the coil. If...

How often have you had cold/flu since you started vaping?

I still get the occasional cold and my allergies act up every early spring/ late fall (leaf mold) but my 4-6 month annual bout of bronchitis hasn't happened since I started vaping.

    I feel extremely stupid....

It should be OK but I wouldn't rely on it. I dislike them from a reliability standpoint and not so much a safety issue.

    I feel extremely stupid....

Because it has "FIRE" in the name. :) Their reputation for durability and quality control aren't great. The one you have might be OK, might not, for peace of mind get a charger from a trusted company. I'd recommend a Pila or Xtar from RTD Vapor I have a WP2 II and plan on upgrading to a WP2S or...

If my SID quits working it's time to by a new one. I if my Sigelei quits working I can tear it down, find the problem and probably fix it myself.

cart cartridges without flanges on the thread end?

Just to make sure, do the unflanged cartos have holes in the side? Just making sure you have punched catos for tanks and not regular unpunched cartos. :)

Thinking of trying Mt Baker Vapor E juice

I kinda like their Green Apple but to me it tastes like apple peel not the flesh of the apple, not bad, not great but interesting. When I'm vaping it I find myself stopping to think about the flavor every ten minutes or so, just sort of.. odd. :)

To drip Or not To drip ?

I tried dripping back in the day before forcedfuel50 of Super-T Manufacturing invented the driptip and I wasn't a fan. After driptips came out I tried it again and still no luck. The flavor was good but what a pain! About a year ago I picked up an Igo S and Poof! I'm a dripper! Not all the time...

Seems like a lot of vape companies keep pushing the price boundary

Because it only makes sense. If you've got the hot new thing that everyone wants, demand is high and you can quickly recoup your start-up and new tooling costs. If the market has decided that your product is good you can drop your prices to compete with the next hot new thing.
