What gauge wire are you using? The thicker the wire the slower the response. For me anything thicker than 26AWG is just too slow at anything less than 7 volts.
If you can type this much, it's not the flu. I'm not saying your cold isn't bad, but my money says you've never had an actual case of influenza and consider yourself lucky for that.
If you insist on using the nano, 1.2 only. DO NOT use the .5 heads. That battery will run best with a topper in the 2 to 2.4 range. For the nano I'd recommend a device capable of sub ohm and 30 watts or better. The Eleaf iStick 30 Watt Full Kit is a good beginners choice.
On a side note, I...
Adirondack Vapor I just ordered 250ml of Placid from them.
Does anybody know what kind of bottles the 250s come in? the 120s are glass but are the 250s?
Nail clippers get close but not as close or are as easy to use as Hakko CHP-170 Micro Clean Cutters.
With muticoil builds where you have more than one wire going through a post hole in opposite directions these are precise enough to clip the tails and miss the legs.
One other safety issue with the 4nine and it's clones, a complete lack of battery venting.
I put my stainless 4nine on the shelf for a month until I was able to drill vent holes. It took these to do the job. If yours is copper a regular bit should work.
If you've got good high-drain batteries like the Sony VTC series or AW IMR's and your build isn't drawing more amps than they they are rated for I'd recommend against it.
I've got VTC4's and run a .3 ohm build and it's amazing!
