then that is an issue with the juice, or your coils just aren't broken in all the way and you are still getting a metallic taste. i know when i throw a fresh build in either my subtank or TFV4 the first tank always has that metallic taste in it until the build settles in.
yeah it may not be a dry hit that just may be the flavor of the juice or your pallet isnt ready to taste that juice yet. I have found a lot of juices that tasted terrible when i first started to vape after a couple years those same juices that tasted terrible or off started to taste differently...
then there is the potential that it might be your juice as well. if all the hardware is working like it is supposed to then it would make sense to try another juice. i have come across some juices that taste like contact dry hit to me. last i remember was a black cherry i got and it was not...
that could be it when i wick that RBA section up i like to place the cotton through the coils.
then lift the ends up to allow the middle chamber to be put on.
cut the cotton at the top of the chamber
then just kinda pack it in on the sides so it just hovers over the juice ports.
hot legs happen a lot you can have one wrap or a leg lead that heats up faster then the rest of the coil... even though everything looks fine there maybe something wrong with the coil causing one part to super heat and gives you the dry hit after you prime your wick and have a good juice flow. I...
Have you made sure that your build doesnt have any hotlegs on your RBA portion that could possibly be an issue. It wouldnt explain why the pre built coils weren't working though.
Going to be spending time at the Girlfriends folks house gonna take the kids trick or treating and il be vaping on my iPV3 with my SMOK TFV4 sitting right on top of that bad boy!
I have been using that scottish roll or whatever its called and found that get a lot more hits with an overly saturated wick and it holds a lot of juice to begin with. at most im wasting a dripper full of juice per wick. to me that worth not having a dry hit
Personally i am a habitual over dripper when i am using my RDA i hate having a burnt wick or a dry wick for that matter. My philosophy is its better to over drip then to take a dry hit lol
First starting off i was reckless with my purchases. I fell in love with whole aspect of vaping and always had the newest shiny mech mod that comes out or what battery would be the most effective. Now that i have all the toys that i need. (not all the ones i want :() I spend about $40 a month...
I am biased to the FTV4 since i love that tank. and if you are using Ti prebuilt coil it will have the same strain a Ti atlantis coil head will give you but you will have the airflow to take it "all the way" as you stated..... not poking fun i just never heard it put that way i normally just go...
I like the Sig 150w tc but thats because I am sig fan i still have the iPV4 didnt bother to get the iPV4s. And the LUC efest charger comes in clutch with that car charger great for long car trips and outings highly recommended for a charger. As for mod i would find what would fit you the best...
I go through about 30-45ml a day i use the TFV4 as well with the rebuildable part built at .4ohms and i stay around 50w for that. I also use my sig100w with my velocity clone at around 80-100w depending on how much battery i have left. It is usually built around .3 ohms i rarely go lower then...
