    I'm a few steps from the bathroom where I keep RO water and my lamp is next to my monitor = minimum wasted movement. I do use alcohol and dry burn occasionally but when I'm changing flavors to drip I just use the water and lamp.

    When I was experimenting, I pulled some stuffing out to see how it was saturating and found that on some there were dry spots in the middle, so I prefer to let gravity work, top down. That's just me though, whatever works for you.
