    the longer it sits around at 3.5 or below, the worse it is.. IMR cells are from power tools originally. One member of ECF, before AW made them, removed what were Emoli IMR cells from a drills power pack, he got several 18650 cells that were sitting around at 2-3 volts for longer than they should...

    Well IMR cells are very resilient and i have heard of people getting them to work after discharging well below 3 volts..but do this a few times and you will hurt the cells overall capacity. They are inexpensive anyway! The new 18650 -2900 protected lico cells can go down to 3.0 volts safely...
