Yeah, I think DEI makes 90% of alarms? Maybe more? When I got mine places like best buy and independent car stereo places wanted $600 to $1000 to install the very same alarm. When I found this small shop installing them for $300 (or less? It's been years ago I can't remember now) I jumped on it...

I paid to have my remote start Clifford installed... Found a deal on Craigslist. I think it was $250? Maybe $300? I can't remember now. But it was like buying the alarm but getting installation free. The remote says 1 mile distance. I'm sure that's in the most ideal conditions. I used to...

I love my Clifford 5902x system. I have the cellular adapter too where I can control it from the phone. Which isnt as useful as you'd think. It's great on hot days or cold days and you are far away from the car (ie: the other side of the mall) which is too far for the key fob but the phone works...

The doctor is actually a rheumatoid arthritis doctor. She and I both have it (the Mrs and I have RA) and see the same doctor. Not to add gas to the fire, but I generally take my mods with me inside places even though I rarely vape inside businesses. Why? Because as we've been discussing I live...

Well I got my first dirty looks and comments from vaping today, at the doctors office with my Mrs. Got the lecture about how bad it is, it's been found to have toxins, etc.... Got it from the doctor, nurse and the receptionist! <shakes head> I didn't even comment with anything except for...

I bought one at a dollar store once. They don't work. The window shades help, but when it's 100+ outside, it's going to be hot in the car. Black cars are even worse.

Yeah but that's inside the car. My alarm does that too.... I never use it. Did you know you can set that to start your car if it hits a certain temp inside... Or if the battery voltage drops? I don't have those options set, but my son has that alarm and I have the same one with a color screen in...

Right now in my car.... 101f... That's the temp not the heat index. Just July to me. August we'll hit triple digits regularly and usually 107 to 110 is not uncommon.

102f? [emoji23] wimp! That's a pretty average July in Texas. August generally gets to 110f

Attack of the (Kayfun V5) Clones!

Curious, is there much difference between the mtl adapter and the rolled mesh reducer in terms of performance? Can you tell a difference? I'm guessing for people wanting a tighter mtl experience, the mesh roll would be just as good? Again I'm just guessing.

Dude, you are way too organized! LMAO [emoji23] I'm lucky if I remember what wire is in what atty when I build them and not fill them right away!

I got my tobeco from eciggity. If you like them and want to stash some away @KTMRider bought 10 from tobeco on alibaba. Not sure if it's cheaper but it's an option since I think eciggity is out of stock at the moment? The sjmy has the beige peek insulators throughout where the sxk is peek under...

No, the tobeco and sxk, and from what's being said in the kf5 thread the sjmy is good too. Those are the ones I'm referencing.

Just to follow up here, I think I said I would? I got my sxk k5 on Sat, built it Sunday. Seems like a good quality atty but the draw is too tight for me - same as the tobeco. That's just personal preference though. All in all, the clone seems well made, the kayfun 5 is just not for me. Kind...

Attack of the (Kayfun V5) Clones!

I finally received my sxk kayfun 5 from focal Saturday and built in Sunday night. Took it completely apart, I can confirm the insulator at the 510 screw and on the inside air shaft are white delrin (plastic) and not the beige (peak? Peek?) like under the positive block. I have not checked the...

I can't tell you guys how much better reading that makes me feel. I was expecting different answers. :) Now I know I'm not crazy. I'm a simple Texas guy... My taste buds are simple to I guess... I remember when I was heavy (heavier?) into cigars and I'd read the review and tasting notes...

I've tried ni200, Ti, and SS316 and I don't think I could tell the difference in the vape between them. But that's just me. The only differences to me are the strength or rigidity of the wire, which makes it easier to reuse after rewicking... Ni200 is 1 time use coil. When the coil gets gunked...

I wasn't sure about the rifle, that's why I said it the way I did (or at least how I tried to meant it). Thanks for the clarification. Also, thanks for the heads up on the air outlet. I thought I read 3.2mm, but there have been so many numbers posted and talked about, it's hard to keep track...

On another note... I posted this in the kf5 thread, thought it was a funny picture... I'd like the kayfun 5 to have a more open draw, so I took off the afc ring, exposing all the air holes... Same draw to me. So the bottleneck is the air shaft or the air outlet under the coil.
