I use both rayon and cotton. This is a coke or Pepsi type question imho. I feel cotton (KGD/puff/muji/Japanese organic cotton) give better flavor. Not the drug store cotton balls, the square pad Japanese organic cotton. Rayon has a different feel when wet (to me), and I feel produces a different... -

To clarify, the removable Samsung batteries should be fine. I've been using them for about 4 years now (2 different models) until recently when I replaced my aging Samsung batteries with anker replacements which have been excellent so far.
