One of the primary advantages of an adjustable 510 is being able to flush the atty with the mod.
If your atty sits that high with the adjuster screw all the way down then something is wrong. You shouldn't need fat o-rings with an "adjustable" 510.
I am having the same problem.
I have 17 bf attys and none of them is even close to sitting flush. The center post that the adjusting screw fits in is too high. Don't know if that's adjustable.
I'll wait till Rob gets back from his fishing trip then give him a call. The new Woodvil is a beauty tho.
Ordered a DNA40 @ 20% discount.
For 80 bucks it can glitch all it wants!!!
On the other hand, one of my 2 rDNA40's that was just returned for the 4th time has the battery drain syndrome. UGH!!!
Fyla....thanx for your reply!! I would not have gotten those without your help! BTW the XTR with twisted 30ga ni200 is working beautifully. I'm thinking it will work just as well in the Calix.
Q....I have never gotten used to a solid tank that I can't see the liquid. Just weird I guess!!
Q and Hildicat....I'm going to order the standard Apollo and Calix today. I'm going to get a spare glass for the Calix. Is there anything else I should get while I'm at it?? Thanx!! (I think!!)
I've had the Apollo XTR for a few days now and must agree with Q and Hildicat that it is my favorite RDA. And I have a lot of rda's!! I built it with a ni200 coil and have been using it on a VS rDNA40 so I haven't tried the bottom feed option. Guess I'll have to buy another and this time I will...
I must say, this is getting rather irritating.
My 1st rDNA 40 (from the pre-sale) has been returned/replaced 4 times. The last return I actually got the same unit back with a new chip with the atty lock feature.
I didn't use that unit for a couple days and when I did use it it was dead...
Thanx for the help guys!!
XTR will be here today. Think I'll build with a single ni200 and put it on a VS rDNA40.
Hildicat, I was too late to get the standard cap but if I like the XTR I'll just order another with the standard cap. Also when you build duals do you build them on board?? Not...
Thanx to Q and Hildicat, I just ordered a XTR.
Now I have a few days to figure out whether to put it on a REO or nickel it up and put it on a rDNA40??
