    Thank you! I found the other factor could be tension on the wick & the happy medium between tight & loose coils. I definitely LOVE 1.2-ish ohms whether it be 3/4 wraps of 30AWG or 5/6 wraps of 28. I guess the popping also means I'm wicking like mad so at least I had that going for me. :)

    I heard an acupuncture needle, because its the thinnest, is good for wrapping nice tight wicks but its still probably not going to be any easier than a paperclip. Pre-torching it & folding the edge which you start wrapping helps with the process some too.

    I think it is the wick because its happening regardless of the coil set-up. I'm running a very solid wick of 500 SS. Its definitely wicking well I just am not a fan of the constant pops.

    Anybody experience a popping during draws? Its like I'm eating pop rocks. It even pops for a second right after my puff. Its working fine, good flavor and vapor its just odd & annoying. Each pop is like mini explosions of juice as it turns to vapor. What's going on here?
