Zamplebox made it to the UK! Pic Heavy

I decided to create a separate thread to my previous one asking for UK based reviews as nobody seemed to have had experience with this. I also kept it in this section as it is based on UK prices and experience. Let's get to it! After signing up on Tuesday the 17th of March, it arrived Tuesday...

    Genuine vs Clones and safety

This is the thing I REALLY don't like about even high end RDA's. Not particularly dangerous in my experience so far, but definitely annoying. In fact I'm using my Atomic now and after installing a coil an hour ago, I could tell what was wrong straight away. A 1.4 ohm coil was suddenly 2.4 ohm...

    Genuine vs Clones and safety

It's all good, I learnt a lesson about safety and the type of products I prefer and I would be crazy to think that everyone thought the same. That's what I love about forums, in that people are free to express opinions and you can get quality feedback so quickly. I will still buy Chinese made...

    Genuine vs Clones and safety

As I said before, apologies for the title, it should have been different. I am describing my experience along with what I've found from others with clones. I also mentioned several times that not everything that comes out of China is junk. I am still a believer in you get what you pay for. There...

    Genuine vs Clones and safety

This is more the point I'm trying to make, the incident just kind of topped it off for me. What's worse about this is I am an electrical engineer :D Seriously though, I made a mistake. I wouldn't go so far as saying it was a stupid mistake, as it was a long way from throwing a shoddy sub ohm...

Thanks, I appreciate you letting me know :) I'm pretty sure the Root Beer is not going to suddenly gain even some flavour, as like you say, it tastes of absolutely nothing. Someone in the thread mentioned that Root Beer Float was their favourite, only I get hardly anything from that either...

    Genuine vs Clones and safety

Absolutely :thumb: Where I thought I was being wise by testing it on the Provari first before taking it over to the mech mod, wasn't completely wise as I wasn't anticipating a problem between simply switching them over. Although the chance of anything changing is very slight, it's still a...

    Genuine vs Clones and safety

Definitely good advice, and I am here to learn more than anything so it will be well heeded! Thanks, and as I say it's just my experience so far and I'm fully open to criticism :) From what I've seen so far personally, the higher end stuff tends to be a case of it is what it is. Any problems...

    Genuine vs Clones and safety

True, I am using a generic term that may not fit as well as cheaper. I must apologise after seeing that I didn't mention testing it first. It's late here and it was a long post to go over 10 times :D

    Genuine vs Clones and safety

It's more cheap Chinese stuff that's the issue. I mention clones only because that's mostly what the Chinese seem to be throwing out with a few exceptions. Plus I've always really not agreed with copying trademarks, but that's another matter. I did actually check the RDA on my Provari first and...

    Genuine vs Clones and safety

I've been looking at various mechanicals lately, along with a LOT of reviews on here and YouTube. As has been the case since I joined, my attitudes are changing and the wallet is getting lighter :D I pulled the trigger on a Provari easily, and very glad that I did. Yes it was expensive, and no...

what is causing my tank cartomizer to flood like this?

That's something I regularly see on the pin of my Provari when I use my tank, but I don't worry about it. It doesn't leak out and onto my hands and the pin is sealed. I simply give it a little rub with an alcohol soaked Q-Tip and screw back on. I would certainly expect to see this after filling...

    Numbered Batteries

I just use the plastic cases that come with batteries from kind suppliers. One case has dead batteries in (I only charge in pairs) and one case is full of charged ones. I always use them left to right too. I can see the advantage in numbering to avoid any confusion though.

    charging in the uk

I use an Efest Soda, that uses a common two pin connection and a UK plug. It will run between 100-240V, so when travelling I can just use a cheap common lead designed for that country, no dodgy adapters. I believe it was around the £17 mark and can charge any battery you could possibly use in a mod.

    E-cigs banned at my work

I believe there are stealth juices around that produce little to no vapor if you hold it in for a second. Can't see them being much different to All PG and no VG though!

Provari Too Big? Doesn't Seem To Be

That's a beauty, really digging the black and white :thumb: I couldn't believe how small the mini was when I first got it. I can completely hide it in my hand! Seeing the original next to the mini in other pictures, I can tell even the original is deceptively small!

Care to divulge how many ml you have stocked?

I bought a 24 bottle holder for 10ml bottles, to try and keep myself from stashing too many. That absolutely did not work :D That thing is always full, plus a dozen or so other bottles at the side, and I've just started a Zamplebox subscription. If the laws over here were swinging towards...

    E-cigs banned at my work

That's harsh, feel terrible about that for you. My employers have been very supportive so far, but I know for certain that if either of two particular managers noticed it happening too frequently, it would be banned immediately. As George says, it's just ignorance and the unwillingness to see...

    Finally did it!!

That's very true. I'm used to using my carto tank all night, but after burning through a ml over not much longer than a couple of hours last night I definitely felt like putting it down! :D

    Finally did it!!

Yes, they can cost more than other torches, but much like Provape, the warranty is hassle free, and after that repair costs are minimal. Just as a side note after using this coil for a while, now I understand how people can get through 10-20ml a day. It's a thirsty little thing! I can only...
