    Joose Juice

Man I love this forum! 2nd day in a row I've found a bargain supplier of juice! Yesterday's was from Killer Juice, and now this! Just ordered: Mocha Toffee Key Lime Cherry Cola Belgian Waffle Maple Syrup Cherry Pie Can't wait to get those lids off and get them steeped!

    Anyone have problems with multimeters?

Bottom connections, posts, coil itself, anywhere my leads would touch! Also tried a clamp on the threads and pushing a probe right into the centre pin.

    Anyone have problems with multimeters?

It's baffling me really. I know the meter is good since I have to have it checked and calibrated every three months. Both atomizers read fine on my Provari. Just glad I have something that will read the resistance so I don't have to cry myself to sleep :D

    Wick??

Any time :) To be honest, I use silica the most right now. It's super easy to get right. Cotton certainly takes more time to work out properly depending on your atomizer.

About to convert to ecigs - scared to death!

My vote would be for an Ego type device. I'm assuming there is some kind of outdoor market around you? There are loads where I am, and they all sell Ego-T starter packs for around £10. Even though I use high end stuff, I still use my Ego-T daily at work. Just do yourself a favour, don't buy any...

    Wick??

There are plenty of YouTube videos around that are very good to learn from. Look for Rip Tripper's micro coil build. You simply tear a small piece off, gently roll it into a long tube shape and thread it through. It pulls through coils much easier than you would imagine. Organic cotton can be...

    Wick??

Organic cotton tends to be used because bleach isn't part of the process. I've used standard balls meant for use on babies, but still get a bad taste. Quite a few boil them a couple of times to clean them. I personally find silica wick the easiest to use, but want to persevere with cotton! As...

    "Experienced Vapers'" SNOBBERY

I've only ever encountered this on YouTube and one other forum to be honest. But in reality, any popular video on YouTube will attract the same. Armchair experts that know everything about everything. People on here are amazing, as others have said, the mix of newbies, veterans and people who...

    Anyone have problems with multimeters?

Very good advice, but my Fluke automatically accounts for its own internal resistance. It was showing a dead 0.0 every time before I tried checking the coil. Also tried it on my Kanger Aerotank, but same strange results! I've often wondered if my body puts out some kind of electrical field due...

Do you vape around your kids?

I've often wondered about this, but ultimately I don't really have an opinion. Over here in the UK the media is hitting vaping hard by 'thinking of the children', assuming that it's a gateway drug that leads onto smoking and then ultimately further (seriously). I had family that smoked around me...

    Anyone have problems with multimeters?

This is going to sound really dumb since I use a multimeter most days at work, but is it just me who has trouble measuring the resistance of a coil or RDA? When I built my first coil, I installed it into a mini dripper and tried testing between the centre pin and thread. All I got was a reading...

Which RDA did you use to learn coil building?

Thanks for all the suggestions! I figure I have to get an Igo-W/L just because they're so cheap, but I would like a higher end RDA too. Only thing is I've not found much in the UK that's actually in stock! I have an IBTanked on the way because I don't mind taking the chance with extra customs...

    Whats your wick of choice?

It's mainly been 2mm silica for me which works fine to be honest. I really am trying to perfect my technique with cotton and microcoils though.

    A shared hobby?

Same here. Pretty supportive, but would be nice to share it rather than get the raised eyebrows and tuts when I get vapemail :D In fact I have a few friends who are vapers but none of them are interested in going past cheap Ego-T's.

Sunday project - repurposed auto ashtray

When I saw the thumb down icon, I thought it was a botched Sunday project, but definitely the opposite! Nice way to say screw smoking and I love vaping too :D

    New Mini

Love the red to black fade! It's a nice way to get some colour without looking like a mis-match with your topper

    First known wickless coil?

He said himself that he's out of Kanthal and would love to vape that but he can't. I'm assuming that's because it will strip the lining out of his mouth :D Certainly don't fancy trying that, putting my own standard coils on a mech is plenty for me! You would think after multiple batteries are...

Does this AW appear to be counterfeit

That's a great result! I tend to stay away from batteries and memory cards from eBay, as I've had so many counterfeits, probably more than genuine. I'll only buy if the seller is an already reputable store with a website. I've had batteries that leak or hold a charge for minutes, and 16Gb cards...
