    Well, if the battery compartment uses springs you could clip the springs a bit. Alot of these vv mods don't need protected batteries because they supply the protection themselves during use. Not during charging though.The charger needs to be a lil better to prevent over charging.

    I'm using 1.7 ohm Bud carto's on a 250 mah battry from Puresmokers and it does fine. 2 batteries take me thru a workday. Weekend , I usually charge them both twice a day. Not for long trips. I have some 650 mah on the way. That will do til the XLMod arrives.
