I think we need to STOP recommending a Istick 50
I don't know how anyone can recommend a 50 watt mod to someone just starting out anyway. The Istick 20w or 30w, Heatvape Defender, I'd recommend all day....for a while. If joules change in response to the resistance change that occurs with temp change and it can be measured in milliseconds than you will have something that can be monitored to measure theoretical temperatures. My take is that joules are monitored vs resistance beings monitored in the Evolv chip. Both based on achieving the watts selected. As an atomizer's resistance changes with temp increases, the joules required also changes. Coil temperature would be calculated form the joules change vs it being... -

DNA25 in a VapeDroid print. Works just like it's big brother. OUT and GND have been relabeled as A- and A+ respectively. Wires go to the same places. Weird to see a + for the ground.. This is the ANA from either Comcig or Smocare. The box is much nicer that the blank I got from Fasttech. The temp control works I have a Russian that I dusted off on it now at 0.16Ω. Just nicely done all around. -

Quick stupid question about kicks :S
You can get a resetting fuse like the shortstop ShortStop by Holocron Labs or Vape Safe. The shortstop kicks in at 5 amps though and you will be pushing 10 amps. I am not sure about the vape safe. The Subohm mod from Aspire will cover you down to 0.5 ohms and may be the safest option for subohm... -

lol, still scratching my head. So to confirm, the OUT wire goes to the center pin of the 510 and GND wire goes to the outside of the 510 (formerly know as negative). I assumed as much but wasn't positive . polarity joke can be inserted here -
