frustrated with Reo/RBA performance
The RM4 needs a really good cleaning prior to use. I boiled mine a few times to remove all machine oil. Also remember to remove the screws as machine oil can hide under the screws. -

Been using KGD cotton on a flat ribbon wire build in a 454 for the past week or so. Dual coils netting around .6ohms. It has been performing well nothing to complain about, but I could not get nic'ed out on the KGD. Replaced the KGD with CC rayon today, a few pulls and I can feel the nic...- RSZ1

Mod atty for reo. Parts?
For the 454 in particular, you can get a replacement drilled center post from Kryptonite. Took 30 seconds to swap it out. The original 454 center post has copper on the bottom, the replacement drilled center post is all stainless steel.
