I think the new lavatube looks fantastic and they seemed to have addressed all the issues that the previous model had. No top/bottom cap, blue screen, increased amp limit, etc. not to mention the kit only costs 109 with a true aw imr and am xtar(I believe) charger.

Ok, yes the one that doesn't have the little air hole on the base is from got vapes. They were just out of stock when I bought the second one. I did break a toothpick off in the other one and that did get the draw on par with the other. Serves me right I suppose, I will only order these from...
I definitely prefer the one without the bottom cap hole. I like the tighter draw. I suppose I could just plug the small hole for a bit of a tighter draw

So I noticed the other day when I got my second vivi nova, that it is different than my other. The draw is much airier than the first one and it looks a bit different on the inside. They are from two different vendors. Which one is the real version?

The brand new 2.0 is not out yet although it should be here soon. I believe the device itself will be 79.00 and the kit will be 109.00. I would assume it will be available within the next couple of weeks as I too am looking to replace my v1 with the new model.

I have a coworker that has been on the same 2.4 head since he bought his nova almost a month ago. These things are the best thing since sliced bread. I have two of them and have found that cotton wick tastes much better than the silica. I would venture to say that if you bought say 200ft of...
I have also rebuilt one of my novas with cotton yarn and new coil and it is a night and day difference with the cotton vs silica. The cotton does take at least a couple hours for the flavor to really come through, but after that, it is fantastic. I don't have a resistance meter but I wrapped a...
I never re use a coil simply because they are so quick and cheap to rebuild. Cotton yarn seems to perform much better than silica and at $1.97 for a lifetime supply, it simply can't be beat.

I run a metal tank on my nova with no issue at all. I do usually try to make sure my pv is standing up most of the time but even when it just gets laid down I still have no leaking. Maybe you got a fluke tank?

I think they are ok. I have one but I came to the conclusion that it is too much of a pain for me. The nova is just so much easier than the smoktech. The only suggestion I can give you is that the wick holes need to be opened up more because they choke the wick causing terrible dry hits...
I love my vivi nova and rebuilding them is very easy with a minimal amount of practice. I would suggest using cotton yarn wicks that are trimmed. This is what I have been using for a couple of weeks and won't go back to carto tanks. I taste flavor better out of the nova than any carto...
