ya they sell flavouring
Butterscotch Electronic Cigarette Flavoring - Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes.
yowzers, they recommend 15-40% flavouring.
To be clear, they said they do not use flavor west butterscotch at all, not in their juices or in their DIY supplies.
They would not tell me...
"Our Butterscotch is not from Flavor West, and does not contain diacetyl...
We have seen the same test results done on Flavor West's butterscotch. Which is why we're proud to say that's not a flavoring we carry. Is there anything else I can help you with today?"
I asked if they used to use F.W...
Flavor West Butterscotch description.
"Butterscotch Water Soluble Flavoring. Ingredients: Natural and Artificial Flavoring, Propylene Glycol. USP Kosher Grade Flavoring. Usage Rate 15-20% for E-use. No Refunds on Flavoring. Color Level: Clear. "
does E-use refer to e-cig? and note that they...
hate to be the bearer of bad news but....
"If you mean Vaping Zone...yes, there are harmful chemicals. The SC Gourmet line has MANY flavors that contain diacetyl - and this information is freely available, yet Vaping Zone continues to NOT disclose this to buyers. No one seems to be able to find...
"people choose to vape these flavors, even with the knowledge of such chemicals being present and even with studies being presented that showcase the potential risk associated."
I chose to vape these flavours with the knowledge that 'none' of these chemicals were present, unfortunately that...
I hope that's not directed at me:( If it appeared to you that I was "screaming at people" I apologize, that certainly wasn't my intention. You may have detected notes of frustration, but that's solely directed towards F.W and their lack of communication, and not towards any member on this...
Also, I get that most flavour companies have been selling to other industries for decades and for different purposes, but didn't Flavor West just pop up in the last 4 years or so? and isn't Flavor West and Vapor Renu the same company? or am i wrong?
I was given that lab result from a Canadian e-juice vendor, they spent a lot of money perfecting their e-juices to retail and they went the extra step to lab test their final product. He e-mailed them regarding the test and they never e-mailed him back, so he posted something regarding the test...
um wow:(
"A second main supplier gave me this reply: There are NO harmless aromas or e-liquids in the world. If you are too sensitive to e-liquids don't vape at all."
Do you mind disclosing where you bought these from?
"I tried three liquids with creamy custard type flavours last week, and by...
Sadly, just asking a vendor whether they use these ingredients is not very helpful, most vendors are going by what the flavor manufacturers tell them, and that's turning out to be not very accurate:(
while that's all great for going forward, it's no comfort for those that have been vaping copious amounts over the last few years under the impression it was diacetyl free:( It's been a few weeks since they've been notified and no ones heard anything?
Not sure if this helps, this quote is from the company that had the test done
"The test detected 1797ug of diacetyl per ml, I quote "ug/ml e-liq (ug/ml e-liq). This is in the area I made a black circle around at the top. mg/ml ratio with eliquid nicotine strength refers to the quantity of...
ugh so I did something in my photobucket account last night and every embedded image I've ever posted got deleted. It wasn't intentional at all, so I'm posting that lab result test again for reference. I would have just edited my original post but I can't.
Also, if anyone ever hears back...

Congrats Sam!
Can you please tell me if you lab tested your flavours yourself to see if they contained acetoin and diacetyl? or are you choosing flavours based on what the manufacturers description says, and basing your claims on that?
thanks!
Alright, but 1 flavour can also contain 1 or all of these ingredients - water, ethyl alcohol, benzyl alcohol, citric acid, butter esters, corn syrup, triacetin, malic acid, milk derivatives, coloring.. ...all common ingredients of flavourings.
