Should I preorder the Istick 50w??

I love my regular iStick, and was excited when they announced the 50w version. TBH, though, I'm not thrilled with the button/screen placement on the ones I've seen online. Seems like it's right in the smack middle of the device, right where it would be either in my way (the +/- buttons) or...

Don't know where to post this...just so mad at myself, I screwed up

It happens hon. I did it too…sort of out of curiosity and sort of to see if I felt anything at all about a cigarette. I agree with others that the fact that it was icky is a good sign that means you are no longer a smoker. Don't beat yourself up.

    Joyetech eGo one setup

Yeah, I'm eyeing that thing for sure. I'd need the 2200 mah one though...

Words that should be in our Vaping vocabulary AKA The Urban Vaptionary

I would too, honestly. A loooong graceful Flapper-style ecig, just for when I am at a party and want to be fancy. Though, I do have an old sterling cigarette holder from the 20s that I picked up at some junk shop back in the day, and I thought I'd be cute and use it for my cigarette all of...

    RDA Noob RDA Question

Well…I've still got no luck over here. If I adjust the pin on the bottom of the rda enough to get the iStick to read the ohms, the center post is so wobbly that making contact with the center pin of the iStick isn't enough to steady it. It fires…but the ohms according to the iStick visibly...

Joyetech eGrip - I am loving this thing!

Um, yeah…I ordered another eGrip this morning at like 10am. Mistakenly ordered a camo base instead of another wood one, didn't realize it till about an hour later, emailed Vicki about it…it is now 1:19, and my WOOD eGrip rba kit has just been marked shipped. Dang, Cignot's game is strong. That...

    RDA Noob RDA Question

Yeah, I love my iStick for out and about, but I realize that it has shortcomings. If I end up really enjoying dripping, I'm going to upgrade to something a little heftier with a spring-loaded 510 for that purpose. I just mostly wanted to see what the fuss was all about before I went out and...

    RDA Noob RDA Question

I kinda thought that might be the case (that once it was screwed on it would be steadier and OK) but I wasn't sure and I didn't want to 'lectrocute myself lmao. I'm going to wick it up and see how she vapes tonight I guess.

    RDA Noob RDA Question

So the other day, I purchased a TOBH v2 RDA to use on my iStick. I thought it would be a simple intro to the world of drippers, and that my iStick would be enough at 20w, since I had read about others using drippers on them. It was easy to build…10 wraps of 28g kanthal gave me a good 1.23 ohms...

Joyetech eGrip - I am loving this thing!

You might want to rewick the cotton, if you didn't when you first got it. I did notice that the cotton that was pre-installed in the coil that came in mine was a little short. I changed it out with one of the ones that was in the extra coils in the bag. If it's not enough cotton down inside the...

Joyetech eGrip - I am loving this thing!

I've only had mine gurgle once, and that was because the top part that screws down on top of the rba base wasn't tight. At least, I think that's what it was…I noticed it when I was refilling, tightened it up, and no more gurgle. After using mine these last few days, I'll be ordering another...

Joyetech eGrip - I am loving this thing!

Same here. My usual wooden wide bore drip tip fit just fine (it's snug in my GDC tank and rattles a little in my Orchids) and I tried several the other day at my B&M and they all fit fine too. I am currently using a slightly shorter than the stock drip-tip copper and white brass wide bore, with...

Coil-us Interruptus: When you're trying to rebuild a coil, but you can't concentrate because other people in your house need your attention, and you keep having to stop and go fix the computer/clean up something the cat spilled/answer questions about what you're doing. dont know who to believe :(

I am not in any way authorized to give you medical advice over the internet. I am also not a doctor. However, I will tell you that there is no way possible to eliminate the element of risk from everything we do. Crossing the street, eating takeout, driving a car, getting on an airplane…any one...

Joyetech eGrip - I am loving this thing!

I used the tiniest flathead that came with my tiny screw driver assortment from Harbor Freight. It barely fit, but it did turn it enough to tighten it. It didn't have far to go. And it fixed the leaking. For now, anyway. Remains to be seen if it was a one-time deal or if they are something that...

Joyetech eGrip - I am loving this thing!

I figured it out, all by myself like a big girl. I was so proud. :) First, there was that screw on the side that was supposed to be for the airflow for the stock head but which is not needed with the rba…it was all the way open. I tightened it all the way up. Then I used the teeniest screwdriver...

New "Tobacco Products" Policy at the VA

Yeah…that seems like a terrible idea. And not very conducive to recovering from any kind of psychological stress, since nicotine withdrawal does some pretty messed up things to brain chemistry. But they care about your health, don't you know?

New "Tobacco Products" Policy at the VA

I was messing with him Treywingo. I would NEVER put him in the VA nursing home, for any reason, even if we were 90. We go there for his medical treatment (he's 100% service connected) because it's free, and because he has to report every 6 months for his tests/bloodwork for his disability. But...

New "Tobacco Products" Policy at the VA

It seems that way to me, too. Maybe I'm wrong completely, and the other poster who suggested that it was meant to control dementia patients from running off is dead on. I do know that "Patients Rights" legislation…which varies by state…is a pretty difficult thing in elderly care sometimes. For...

New "Tobacco Products" Policy at the VA

The implication that I took away from the statement is that they won't be getting a note. As in, they will no longer be allowed outside to smoke. Otherwise, why would they be offering "smoking cessation" products? I haven't been to every VA in the country, but the two I've been to, the smoking...
