From what i know, top coils on ce2 systems only. There are several types with different names and tips but they are based on the same concept. Drawing liquid up the wick onto the coil as you suck on the air tight tube. Have to do a thorough search on alibaba if there are any other systems that... -

If i didn't observe wrongly, the new bases are those with diamond lines on the sides, and the old bases are those with vertical lines. Vertical lines are more prone to leakage. -

If you manage to fill it fully but still the same result, it might be incompatible to your battery. Happened to me once when i was new to vaping. Bought a pack of 5 filler type soft cartos in Malaysia and use them on my Ego and 510 batteries. Same thing, got strong warm TH but not much vapor... -

zippo wicks
Not sure how you've melt it but mine doesn't when burnt at high temp. They won't even become brown like stock wicks. Just make sure they are genuine zippo wicks. -

You can consider Vision Extreme from Gotvapes. They come in 1.3ml, 1.5ml, 2.5ml or 3.5ml. They are one of the best performer in vapor, TH, taste and QC for ce2 type clearos. Something you'll never regret buying. I'm not advertising for the sake of it as i'm not affiliated with them in anyway... -
dropping your ecig
I've dropped my ego-t, ego vv, provari a couple of times or more each when i forgot they are in my hands. No damages, still working fine. Once i dropped a CE2 type carto and it went dead. No cracks or anything, it simply refused to fire up again. I give extra attention now to prevent dropping...- Syn007

how E-cigs have affected me..
One thing i like about vaping is no more lingering smell that won't seem to go away. When i smoke in the past, always felt bad when smoking infront of non-smoking friends. With vaping, i don't have that problem anymore. -

think my atty is kaput
You got to do something to your wick. Either too thin or too low. The bubbles are normal, but your atty is flooded. By boiling sound i assume you mean gurgling sound. -

It is the heart of the zippo wick, bind together by its own. Doesn't stick to the cotton thread, very easily taken out as the fibre is the core. You'll know it when you see it because it is very smooth and shiny. Much prettier than the default atty wick. -

I bought the zippo wicks at CCK lot 1, 3rd or 4th floor if i remember correctly. 77th street style shop that sells zippo lighters. $2.50 per wick, one wick can do replacement on the atties about 6-10 times. You probably won't need to replace the newly made wicks after you did it once, the silica... -

Thanks for the feedbacks. Able to use drip tips on them are cool. Was just wondering if they'll leak when i put them in my pocket with drip tips. The original whistle tip on the regular vision is fine, just have to becareful not to draw too hard. Pushing the inner plug tighter on the coil cup... -
