They were supposed to have already released a update for it to be able to run at 120 watts in power mode, I also heard something about a update for both of them to utilize 70 joules in temp limiting though I'm not sure if the latter is true or not. -

Mine arrived today really like it, it's built pretty damn solid like my sigelei's all metal. temp control works the same way as the ipv4 50 joules and does it amazingly well. it does 165 watts in regular power mode out of the box and with a update will do 200 WATTS! they seem to have a good... -
Ipv4 problem
the black units don't have the mirror finish only the first batch of the silver units did and they have since fixed it with a new screen cover. its now the same as the black units. temp control works great no issue's -
IPV 3li with tc
The 510 is on other side compared to the regular ipv3 so all new internals, was told that the touch sensor would work I will be testing it with sum juice to see if it causes it fire the mod. -

Hey there retired was curious if we have to use LiPo's or will 2 18650's work up to certain wattage? Id rather have less watts and utilize a flask style mod. thanks -

Also what will the max watts be on this chip using 2x 18650's? I don't care for lipo's or a 3x 18650 mod to big IMHO , but I could see a flask being a good form factor for this chip with 2x 18650's. Will most likely never use more 120 watts ,but it's good to have the flexability.
