    Just finished a dual coil build on my lemo. 24 gauge .8 ohm total: amazing! Being able to open up the airflow on a lemo vs kaifun made a world of difference in choking out vs enjoying the vape.

    I always dry burn the new coil and then run it under water about ten times before wicking. The kanthal I have you can actually see something burning off due to the smoke and smell. Not a big deal it burns and washes off, but it has that "machine oil" taste your talking about if I don't dry...

    The nextel stuff is great because of how well it wicks and it doesn't burn. There is one serious draw back: the fine particles after torching and handling. You really have to rince it well, and work it around a bit before wrapping a coil to get all those particles dislodged and rinsed away...
