What's gonna break first on your mech mod?

Makes sense to me, that the 510 connector threads (depending upon how often you change atomizers) and/or any moving parts on the device would be the first to wear out in the long run.

On the Feasability of Vaping with External Battery Packs

Hardware and technical details are not my strong suits, but I believe a USB port will deliver as much current as is demanded by the device, which may result in an over current situation. The LimeFuel features dual 2.0 Amp ports, but I am uncertain whether the 4.1 total means combined amperage...

On the Feasability of Vaping with External Battery Packs

I have USB port monitoring equipment on order, which should give me accurate readings for voltage under load and amps. I did run a load test using my multimeter on the EZOPower and the IncrediCharge. I put my probes on the terminals of an uncapped dripper at 1.6 ohms. Voltage drop was about 1.0...

On the Feasability of Vaping with External Battery Packs

That is what is essentially inside these power packs, several battery cells hooked up in series or parallel (not technical enough to know which). Corrected typos: Readings for IncrediCharge and LimeFuel should read.4.78 Volts, and 4.86 Volts respectively.

On the Feasability of Vaping with External Battery Packs

This thead is part review, part sharing my experiences using external Li-Ion/Li Polymer battery packs (also called powerbanks) for vaping applications. I seek to answer several questions people may have about them. Items used: 1. Powerpack 2. 5.0 volt manual passthrough (not variable voltage)...

New to vaping - Quit cigarettes... But I have problems

As another poster mentioned, you can also adjust the vape intensity via resistance. Also, higher VG concentration juices, should produce more vapor. Also noticed cotton wicks also yield a bit more vapor., not certain about this though. Since your starting out, you could just experiment with...

New to vaping - Quit cigarettes... But I have problems

Hello and Welcome to the forums. I have two 1300 mAh Ego - T's. A bit wider/shorter than other eGo batteries. I really like em. Been performing great. VV eGo type batteries are also available. genuine Kanger, Vision, etc. are generally good quality.

    Vapor residue inside my car.

I'm a fairly light vaper and not in my car alot, but haven't noticed anything. Of course, I haven't cleaned the inside of my windshield since, well, never have. A benefit of the build up might be increased protection from UV rays, and not having to use your visor. :2cool::vapor::)

    Hello From FoCo!

Hello and welcome to ECF pinky. Congrats. The first time I ever tried an e-cig was at the mall, and I think it was a disposable. Did seem a bit harsh. Maybe cause your body/lungs are not used to it.

Any 24mg e liquid with no throat hit?

I Agree with the above posters. 100% VG and staying away from flavors which have a strong natural throat hit like cinnamon/mint/menthol. I have heard it said that alcohol can increase the throat hit, but I am uncertain whether or not the alcohol is evaporated off at the coil.

Can't seem to get the hang of dual coils!

I don't think so. Not certain. What I can say is that both devices have an easily distinguishable positive post, which is in the center and raised up about a centimeter above the deck. In either device, the two negative terminals are screws which, when tightened sit flush against the deck. When...

Can't seem to get the hang of dual coils!

My particular Kraken clone, was working fine with my single U wick, it is most likely user error on my part trying to set up dual coils. Using silica/cotton does seem to remove alot of the issues with a wick material which is itself a conductor of electricity.

Can't seem to get the hang of dual coils!

Yeah, I tried the pre-installed SS mesh dual coils, was nice, a bit more intense, but nothing to write home about. Of course this is probably because I hadn't made my own yet. I did notice alot more issues with mesh as opposed to cotton/silica. Because it is metal, could there be some...

Can't seem to get the hang of dual coils!

I think some vapers have a natural aptitude for coil building, others for DIY'ing E-juice, others for modding, etc. I've never been great with coil building, its been a long slow process for me. I don't like working in tiny confined spaces and am not a nitty gritty electronics person. But...
