Thanks for the Vids. Someone on facebook suggested doing one coil at a time. I tried that but didn't have much success. More practice and learning is likely in order. Sooner or later I'll probably get it. Maybe. Hopefully. Until then, I am pretty happy with my single coil U wicks.
I think it is the physics of these bottom coil tanks (gravity fed). I could never quite figure out the right balance of wick material. The greater the capacity, the more problems I seemed to have (more pressure). But the mini's and mini davides work great for me.
They should last for many years. But what is more likely to wear out first?
1. The threads on the 510 connection?
2. The springs (i.e. for the button), hence the magnet upgrade?
3. The threading on the tubes themselves?
4. The switch/button mechanism itself and/or locking ring?

Hey there, mech mods are nice, they are durable and reliable. They will also allow you to vape at below 1.2 ohms which would give you a more intense vape, but not necessarily perform better than a regulated mod. Depends on the materials/connections/etc used. You may want to try something simple...
I do my building on a large counter/bar between my living room and kitchen. Three overhead lights can be turned on to give me all the light I need. It's also where I do my e-juice mixing.
OK, spent several hours trying to dual coil my genesis devices. I am aiming at 3.4 ohms for each coil which should yield 1.7 ohms. I must be doing something wrong, cuz I just can't seem to get the hang of it. I can do regular single coils and U-wicks (which is what I ended up doing) no problem...
The peaches and cream yarn seems to have a different taste from the sterile cotton balls. I thought both were an improvement over silica, but the yarn did have a wet sock/towel/t-shirt etc, kinda taste. This may be a small price to pay for truer juice taste and greater vapor production. Just...
Hello, welcome to ECF and congrats on quitting. Protank heads/coils are pretty easy to rebuild. So are the Vivi Nova's for that matter. Love the mini davide/mini protanks.
It's been a awhile since I have lived in NY, but I did send some emails to city council members. Passing laws is one thing, enforcing them is quite another.
