    i pull the battery down towards the negative contact, to make a gap between the batt and + contact of the sled, before attempting to pull the battery straight out. but i seldom pull the batts out. i always just use evolv's balance charger.

    i use 26 g Ti. i find it to be the sweet spot between 24 and 28. not too thick, not too thin. i went ahead and bought Spider Silk Ti. it's A little overpriced but i rarely change my coils. once i have a good build in something i keep it and just change the wick. i bought a "puck" with 15' of 26...

    thanks @dimo. there are differences between the boards. the most obvious being the screen ribbon socket facing the right side of the board to accommodate for VS's bottom mount screen. the back of the VS's board looks the same as the rest. same amount and arrangement of the mosfets, capacitors...

    i find if i want to us a SS coil on my D2, lets say my SS coil ohms out to .30, i'll find an atty or topper with .20 build and lock that resistance. i'm essentially fooling the mod into thinking the SS coil has lower base resistance than it actually does which allows me to run my SS coil in Ti01...

    lol i'm already pickin out 18350 batts for the nugget i don't own yet. i plan on making mine battery replaceable. so far it's looking like some efest flat tops. 700 - 900 mah.

    is there a practical need for this feature? it seems like you would notice this cooling then reheating of the coil while taking a vape. i dunno maybe i just need to play with one to see what it's about.

    vapnfagan has a first look out on the device and he didn't have a manual tcr feature in his menu on the ipv5........is this feature a firmware upgrade? edit.......his ipv5 DOES have a manual TCR feature. he just didn't show it in his first look.

    ya i really like the flavor this coil is putting out but i had to contact vapenw to see what can be done. i really don't feel like doing that 'hack' four more times, lol.
