    Newbie - opinions gratefully received!

Definitely what everyone else has said. You can also help to alleviate the symptom by drinking plenty of water, a good practice for all vapers to partake of anyway. I recommend Red Hot Cinnamon as a flavor that you will *definitely* be able to taste and enjoy, unfortunately it gunks up coils...

    MVP 2 puff counter

255 since I received it yesterday. Side note - how about THAT PACKAGING? Holy moly.... "Overkill" comes to mind, but it is a pretty heavy mod. My plastic case was actually cracked in one spot with a chunk missing. Maybe it was necessary lol

    Wicks?

+1 for Ekowool, just wish I had 1mm or 2mm to fit in my micro coils >_< For this reason I've been using 100% cotton and it is incredibly easy to fit in a micro coil, wicks very nicely, and overall fantastic results in vapor/flavor. I still prefer Ekowool but whad'ya gonna do?

    Effectiveness of no-inhale vaping?

Both can be nearly the same, depending how you exhale after lung hit. At any rate, the majority of the nicotine is absorbed through the mouth/nose no matter what way you inhale. To the point: You don't need to inhale at all to get your fix. Option for inhaling is for personal preference only...

Seeking recommendations for a good mid-cost glass carto tank.

Never used these, or the site, but it came off gotsmok discount deals and those are always legit. Again, I don't use carto tanks, but in my adventures I came across these. They're still on $19.99 blowout sale :) Hand Blown Pyrex 5ml "Vapor Tank" I've heard these cartos are some of the best...

    IGO W Question

Yup, for sure you can use a dual-coil post RDA for single coils. Just thread your leads through two posts and ignore the last one. Here's a pretty cheap deal for the Igo-W: IGO-W Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer Vape well, vape often :vapor:

    waiting for euphoria...

Congratulations on the switch! It would help others to lend support if you mentioned a few things. A.) How many packs a day did you smoke? B.) What nicotine mg/mL are you using? And remember to stay hydrated, drink plenty of water. Vaping can be a bit dehydrating, it's one of the trade-offs...

    Help w/ Protank2 microcoils+cotton wick

1.5Ω with 32GA? How many wraps and what diameter? That'd be pretty hard to beat without getting an RDA and doing dual coils or something with your wire. I suggest you check out RBA subforum and read up on the micro coils thread and ask around for tips on getting more vapor. Also check out...

    IGO L or IGO W?

Wonder how my Optimus S compares to your Igo-S... it's roughly the size of your typical prebuilt dripper. Possibly the smallest RDA out there? It hits nice though. Top piece fits, eh, pretty dang loose but I've never had it leak once. Just need to be mindful of the situation going on down there...

    Help w/ Protank2 microcoils+cotton wick

Not sure that you would really need a mechanical mod to get the best. What setup are you currently using and what issues are you having? Even if you think there's room for improvement, i.e. better flavor, that's cause for at least considering how to better your vape experience. But need to know...

    Help a newbie

20A is a good amount. I might pick some of those up :P I don't really know what "safe" sub ohm you could hit with 20 amperes, I'm not a sub ohm kind of guy. I do highly recommend micro coils though. You can see a post I made on them here with a picture for a guide line (3/32" diameter, that's a...

    Help w/ Protank2 microcoils+cotton wick

eGos run at around 3.4-3.7 volts. Let's say it's 3.6, roughly full charge. 3.6v x 3.6v / 1.4Ω = 9.25 Watts 3.6v x 3.6v / 2.0Ω = 6.48 Watts As you can obviously tell, the higher your Ω(Ohms) of the coil you put on your eGo, the lower your wattage will be. That means less vapor. It's very...

Ready for an AVP - Vamo V5, SVD, and what about Zmax?

I have a SID as well. Fantastic APV. I've heard a mention once or twice about a faulty button, but honestly not sure how that could happen. Mine is CLICKY as hell, AKA durable. You do have to keep a steady pressure though, nothing obscene, but if you start pushing the button all half-baked...

    New to the ecig forum.

Plenty o' power, I'm not sure how much vapor you can get using any particular setup. Like I said before, the Protank II seemed to create a lot in my experience. It could easily be more or less than what you're used to, so anyone's opinion on the subject is particularly equivocal based on such...
