I was always surprised by the bounteous clouds produced by the Protank heads @ 9W, specifically in the Protank II. First one didn't create nearly as much vapor, at least not for me.
Despite this my RDA produces nearly as much and the TH and flavor are ramped up x5. What sort of PVs do you...
Might consider just getting a dripping atty and a drip tip if you haven't already got one. Something like these. Or (when they are in stock) Ikenvape drippers.
The benefit here is that you can try a small amount of a liquid, 3-4 drops. When you want to try another? Vape until you get a dry...
I feel like I've somewhat skipped this obstacle, and certainly agree - it can be very confusing for newcomers just starting out. Trying to dig through ... 7-8 years(?) of vape technology is no easy task.
I remember learning about eGos and thinking "Ohhh this must be the best thing everyone is...
I do this as well, and I consider it an instrumental part of the process in rebuilding a Protank Head.
Not likely, the stock head wick quite nicely. What blend of liquid are you getting burnt hits on? Protanks really shine with thinner liquids, so either get a higher PG blend or put a drop or...
All I can think of: Blind to You
"I'm blind to you Haters
Can't touch me war instigators
Mi say, where is the love lately?
Ask ya how the world a run so"
*...slow dance into the distance...*
Congrats on diving in the deep end! :toast:
It's interesting to hear that the "new" Blus are doing so well for you. I have never tried them myself, but am in the market for a nice stealth vape. You mentioned the vapor is good, but how about flavor?
Best of luck on your vape journey :)
Did you make sure to screw the head into the base nice and tight, THEN snug the Protank on your Provari? If the head is just loosely fitted in there it would explain why it's not making a connection.
Just a thought. I'm off to bed, g'night and good luck :)
Not with the MVP. It has an internal, non-removable battery (2600 mah). You can even vape it WHILE you charge. The kit includes: MVP v2.0, USB charging cable, iClear 30 clearomizer.
Really, all you need is juice.
That's how it goes :D
I just got paid today and put $50 on a card. Got home and said to myself "Alright, I'm NOT going to spend my budget in one sitting again, like I normally do."
2 hours later. MVP v.2 and some 500 SS Mesh paid for and headed my way
Alas, the deal was just too dang good...
*shrug* Mine doesn't. I know the other popular ones don't. Bigmaaark says the iTaste will fire .6 ohm, but it doesn't work very well. Really. If you're re-building and plan to use it on an APV, shoot for 1.2 or above. Cause it either won't fire at all, or it won't work good anyway.
Unless you...
A micro coil is a coil (atomizer) wrapped very tightly, using low gauge wire. The idea is to get your ohms to standard resistance but with a large area of heating surface, as opposed to sub-ohm where you are putting a massive amount of wattage into a single coil, thereby creating higher...
Too many to name, in every shape and size, APV and mechanical, rebuildable and top-of-the-line.
For vapor and taste, you really can't beat a good RDA with proper coils. This requires some knowledge of Ohm's Law and battery safety. I'm sure Baditude will be by any moment with those sweet...
I don't really even feel the need to torch/compress. I wrap them as they are in the picture by hand for sake of simplicity.
It's a RDA Optimus S, 13 wrap 28GA Kanthal A-1, 1/32th diameter @ 1.5Ω w/ cotton wick. I tossed it out a while back, because I wanted to hit a lower ohm. Currently using...
You cannot intake calories from vaping, unless you have a certain rare diabetes which allows the conversion of glycol (VG) to glucose. I don't remember what the condition was called, just researching and finding info on it. Even then the levels are miniscule.
However, a side effect of quitting...
Congrats on your switch and welcome to ECF. Wish you the best of luck on your vape quest!
P.S. Where I'm at, 40 degrees is considered warm. Try -50 windchills in January, THEN you're getting cold.
Hard to say, but it sounds like a mistake I made when trying my hand at mini and micro coils for the first time. You've got to get those coils wrapped tight together. Once you do it's a world of difference. Copious amounts of vapor and great flavor. I originally started wrapping with the intent...
