I also get paid once a month and I live within my budget. Every month I know how much money I need to pay the bills, food, and ejuice. If there's any money left over, I may consider getting a "toy."
I don't have mom&dad that I can go to in a pinch, so if there's no money there's no spending...
Don't underestimate your mum. I'm 65 years old and have tried cartos, carto tanks, vivi novas, EVODS and now using the Kanger Aerotank. I did all of my own research and ordered my equipment knowing it may not work out.
My advice is to get her a variable voltage eGo or spinner battery and...
Somehow the ecig industry needs to get their act together and start functioning in the same playing field as the other guys. Funding for all of the research, etc., is a major issue. The question to ask is: How do the other guys get funding? And, how do we set ourselves so we can get that...
Congratulations and welcome! The day may soon come when you realize you haven't smoked a cigarette for more than 24 hours. That is what happened to me, my last cigarette smoked was 2 years ago and have had no urge to smoke again. A very painless transition.
Yes, that is one of the forum rules. Here's some reading material, check out rule #14.

When I joined the forum almost 2 years ago, I spent hours reading throughout the subforums and that's when I found out about diacetyl. I made a decision since then not to vape any cream or buttery flavors as they may contain it.
My advice to any newbie is to read through the medical issues, and...
Not only that, but she helped herself to posts here without asking for consent and, I'm sorry, but using forum postings as the "control" is NOT scientific at all. The posts in any forum are just opinions, unless the person posting proves they're a scientist with credentials and they've followed...
A year ago Prue Talbott "published" a "paper/study" citing adverse effects of vaping based on our posts in this forum:

There is a study conducted by Dr. Konstantinos Farsalinos recently on the absorption rates of nicotine by vaping vs smoking. You can find it and other studies on the CASAA website.
It is natural for the body to develop all kinds of things as you age.
The concept that "if I do what I'm supposed to do" ensures I'll live forever is what the "powers that be" is spoon feeding the masses to keep the money coming in. I.E., "I'll tell you how to live forever if you send in $19.99...
OP:
Lets take up this subject 30 years from now, we all agree that the long term studies would be in by then. Of course, I'll be 95 years old, and if I'm around, I will definitely attribute it to vaping instead of smoking.
If you're really that worried about it, nobody's putting a gun to...
It's not going to hit you all at once. Depending on your age you may realize one day that you're doing something you weren't doing before. In my case, I no longer need a CPAP machine to sleep, I breathe all night without problems. I don't toss and turn all night, I sometimes wake up in the same...
LOL, perhaps, but I do spend time on other things other than ecig forums. I'm enjoying my retirement and having a ball just doing all the things I had to put off because I was busy working and supporting and raising my 3 kids. And, vaping is now part of my life, but not the main focus of my...
Yep, me too, except I drink coffee instead of tea. I wake up, start the water boiling, wash my hands, check my blood sugar, then grab my pv and puff away as I watch the water boil. No more than 10 minutes altogether.
Remember cigarettes taxes don't go into a health fund for smokers who get sick, it goes into the States' General Fund account to be spent as the States see fit. The way cigarette taxes were sold to the masses in the beginning was saying that it would go to treat smokers. That is NOT the case.
