One thickness of dental floss will keep the button cover on good
Place the button in the locked position
Cut a small piece of floss about the width of the button then position it so that only one thickness of floss overlaps the button in one place, then push the button cover on
I've put an o-ring in the button cover before I install it
Gives you a little extra throw(the thickness of the o-ring)
Sounds like you need about 1/16" thick
1/8 ID X 1/4 OD X 1/16 CS fits perfectly
And it will stay in the button cap when its off the REO
Some 2015 Woodvil buttons come apart easier than others
Mine was easy to remove

The Cyclops AFC is only hard to disassemble the first time you take it apart
After that it gets easy
Tapping the right size wooden rod inside the cap while holding tightly and pushing down on the outside of cap Is the way to do it
You can really just BLOW the paint off with an air compressor?
There has to be more to it than that, maybe your using the compressor with a sandblaster
And HammerTone is about the most durable paint Rob uses
I have a secondhand HammerTone VV Grand and it looks like the day it was born

I've been looking at Pin Vises all day on Amazon and eBay
Can you Please supply a link to the best Pin Vise you have found for tension winding coils?
I was looking for one with a non tapered section near the jaws for resting on the edge of the spool
But I couldn't come up with...
I have two Coil-Masters(V2 and V3) and a Gizmo
The Coil-Master has more usable posts
The Gizmo only has one usable rod for me, the 1.5mm(1/16")
I wish it had a 2.5mm rod for 3mm READYxWICK because I like the tensioned coils it produces
I don't think the Coil-Master applies much tension at all...
Are you sure that 3mm READYxWICK slides right into a 3/32" coil?
3/32" = 2.38125mm
3mm READYxWICK = 2.7mm
RBA Suppies recommends 7/64"(2.78mm)snug to 1/8"(3.17mm)loose for 3mm READYxWICK
