They are not dangerous to use, you just need a regulated mod to get the voltage well over 4 volts or wattage over 8 watts
My VV REO Grand and ProVaris have no problem doing 2.6 ohms
A good general rule is if you add 2 to the reistance and set the voltage for that value you will be at or...
I think RFs suggestion is right on for an unregulated mechanical mod
"If you prefer sweet juices, I would stick to 1.8-2.0. If you're more into tobacco flavors, then the 1.5 may be the one for you"
2.6ohm resistance would be more for a regulated VV or VW mod
I think I'll just let the collectors buy them all again
Then just leisurely watch the classies for them to start showing up
And only if they are in new condition will I consider buying one
That will keep me busier for longer than trying snag one in the maybe 5 minutes before the site crashes...
Thanks for the pictures of the 510 pin custom-classic
First time I've seen it removed
First time I've heard of drilling it from the top, makes alot of sense to do it that way
Saved it for future reference
I think someone compared the Router Bit on a Divo to a pregnant cow
Maybe on the So what if it looks like crap thread
Just tried the Router Bit on a MCV Atomic
If the RM4 is a 1 to 1 clone it will work beautifully
The Router Bit ends right at the beveled edge of the MCV Atomic
I'm thinking a spare spring screw will be in my next order
Along with a couple springs
Get ready Rob...
I don't order all the time
But when I do I prefer REOsMods.com
Is there a chance that the orders only make it to the post office once a week
I'm guessing Tuesday
That seems to be the only way it makes sense to me
I know I'll get it, but 9 or 10 days seems to be typical
That setup will work, nice job
I just got a flashback to when I got my first REO
You had to be lucky to get one
When they became available they sold out almost immediately
That was only about 4 years ago
Believe it
I'm using a Cyclone now and measured everything with a digital caliper
The LokiLab .45 Stubby(OD = 11.9mm) fits the Cyclone(OD = 13.1mm) real nice
Router Bit ID = 5.3mm OD = 15.7mm
.45 Stubby ID = 5.5mm OD = 11.9mm
Try it you'll like it
I don't have a Divo but its top looks even...

Once you switch to rebuildables you can carry a disposable atty in case of emergency
Thats about all they are good for nowadays
I have a bunch of new disposable 510 & 306 attys that I will probably never use
Got my Router Bit & .45 Stubby yesterday
They are very nice
The Router Bit is no good (OD too big) on a Cyclone
The .45 Stubby works good (OD 1mm smaller) on a Cyclone
