The slotted head of the pin is definitely missing Unless you have the pin upside down, and are feeding the pin up from the bottom The pin head keeps the pin from sliding all the way through the gasket There is nothing to hold the pin in the gasket, its just going to fall right through -

It looks like the slotted top of the pin has broken off and is missing in your picture Also the thin gasket protector piece is missing The pin gasket looks fine but you will definitely need a new pin and gasket protector at least -
