    Be careful is "rubbing alcohol" because it could contain other stuff. Look at the ingredients. Should say water and isopropyl alcohol and nothing else. There has been some concern and arguments on here about whether it is safe to use isopropyl. I use everclear to be safe.

    I used to have to ship stuff to italy and had to include a commercial invoice with a description of the item(s) and their value. With nafta (canada and mexico) i had to include a certificate of origin. The folks at the post office may be some help.

    Mine shorted out so I took it apart. Looks like my problem is it was BOTH flooded and dry all the time. The bottom coil looks like it has to be flooded to get the top wet while bottom feeding. Makes sense now why I could find a happy medium. Dripping seems like the only way to go with this atty...

    I have had an ego come out of my shirt pocket into a roll of winding plastic film at work. Had to cut the roll down to find it. Atty was gone but the battery still worked. Dropped my reo grand from 25ft off of the side of a silo. It hit the concrete and only had a little flat spot on the corner...
