    My only experience with ohms jumping around was with an RDA when one of the posts had a loose connection so it's likely a similar problem with the coil where one of the connections is loose. I don't think it's a problem with the mod.

    Yes when you vary your wattage your voltage changes, but there is no VV mode with the TC40W like there are in other istick models.

    The other difference is that the tank does not connect directly above the fire button like with the 30w. It's now on the opposite side with the curved edge.... I personally like this better but may not be what others like. ETA I thin pbursado did a goo youtube review showing the differences...

    I'd get a TC40W... same price point larger battery even if you don't use the extra power. The only reason to get the 30w would be if you were really attached to your vv mode since that isn't available on the TC40W

    Try something new to keep yourself occupied. Buy a new mod, buy a new tank, get an RDA, try that crazy coil build you've always wanted to try.... but above all keep your hands and mind active and away from cigarettes. Best of luck! You and your father are in my thoughts and prayers.
