Amazing contest! Thanks for the opportunity!
I've been wanting to get into mech mods so I'd get the brigade box mod and a couple of those AWT batteries (I know $8 over but I'd gladly pay the difference).
I found using that coil 450 was the minimum, but I didn't get what I'd consider a decent vape until abou 530. My problem was that the battery drained too quickly that way so I switched back to the 1.2 ohm coils.
Then I got my KS RTA clone and haven't looked back. :D
My reply:
"Thanks for the reply.
As someone who vapes I like to keep up to date on current research. If your results are genuine it is quite alarming and cause for concern. I asked for your methodology and results because there have been several previous studies that have had similar results...
So if you vape you tank dry, take off the atty to refill, then reattach it before the coil has cooled does it register a new baseline resistance or does it recognize it as the same coil as before?
If it registers a new baseline resistance it could be dangerous.
I think you're right. I sent a note asking for the method and results from the study they did and got this as a response:
"The information is part of a confidential legal case. You can stay updated at ceh.org/ecigs"
I'd expect they are purposely using the flawed methodology to bolster their...
Sony's right hand doesn't know what it's left is doing. Sony Energy is still producing the VTC line.
The HG2 is really good but it's a 20A battery and can't sustain more than a short pulse at 30A before starting to over heat. The Samsung 30Q is very similar performace wise but is only spech'd...
The only thing I'm worried about is how and when it sets the base line resistance in TC mode. Is that made clear in the documentation? I'm worried that there is a risk of the baseline resistance being reset without the user knowing and then operate in an unsafe way.
The formaldehyde claim is from a new (published Sept 2015) paper that I hadn't seen before. They don't go into their testing method so it's hard to evaluate what they did.

We're coming up on midnight in Shenzhen China... I wonder how long until they pick the winners? *fingers crossed*
Thanks again to @Vera and Heaven Gifts for this promo
EDIT: I'm just assuming they're in Shenzhen
