    Titanium wire, vaping and safety

I'm using Ti on the Goliath V1 and like it. I'm using dual 24 gauge 6/5 wraps 2.4mm diameter coils. Ohms at .105 on my SX mini. I think the ramp up time is better than kanthol (never used 24 ga Ni) and can handle high temps well. I don't think I'll ever be going back to Ni.

    SXmini M Class (TEMP CONTROL)

While I don't KNOW, I would think that Yihi would build in some kind of average atomizer resistance into their algorithms to determine temperature. If this is the case, then the percentage of error would be how much your atty deviates from the average, not the total resistance of the atty. It...

Welcome @Two_Bears. I have a Magma too which I got mainly for flavor testing my DIY juice. Works great for that!

YiHi SXmini M - Temperature Limiting and now a Ti mode

Yea, 50 joules is hard enough on the battery, and if I could use 75 joules I would probably do it just to try it and then go back down to 50ish because that's a good vape for me. I would just like to have the option to turn it up more if I choose to...

YiHi SXmini M - Temperature Limiting and now a Ti mode

Ok, I just figured out that it needs to be in Ti mode to get 75 joules. Maybe I'll have to pick up some Ti wire now.

YiHi SXmini M - Temperature Limiting and now a Ti mode

I just updated to v2.23 and I get 75 watts in power mode, but still only 50 joules..... Hopefully the final version will increase the joules too.

    Vaping at work. Anyone else?

My company bans tobacco use and considers vaping to be tobacco use. I work for them so I have to agree to it. I guess if they wrote a policy that says up is down and black is white I would have to agree to that too....

    The Billow v2!

Thanks, that's good to know. The top seal was in place and as far as I know there was no air leak on top. Like I said I was able to get it to stop after I changed the way I wicked it. It's just odd how the juice would gush out of the air holes. It was max VG too!

    The Billow v2!

Sorry if this has already been asked, but has the leaking issue been fixed? I found out how to fix it with my original Billow by packing wicking material between the posts and air holes and also combing a little wick into the juice channels, but It's a pain and it makes me question their product...

    Just Starting To Vape

If I were just starting out I think I would look at the Kanger Sub Box. I don't know how well it holds up though, since it's pretty new. I didn't like the RBA deck on the full sized sub tank, but I haven't tried the mini. Maybe it's better.....

    Just Starting To Vape

I would start off simple. A regulated mod and a tank with replaceable coil heads like the above post says. Everyone has different preferences so I won't tell you exactly what to buy. I think the best advise I can give you is to research the crap out of anything before you buy it. Look for...

    Mech, hybrid, or regulated???

Regulated for sure. I have a mech but I've done little more than play around with it. I guess I fail to see the point when you can get a regulated device now that will go to 150+ watts. To each their own, though.

Hello everyone, I've come across this site many times when googling for vape info, but haven't joined until now. I've been vaping for over 2 years now so it's about time I start returning the favor. What are the best ways to monitor threads about topics that I know about and can help people...
