Miriam, not only can it be used as a dripper but it also uses a reservoir that holds about 3ml of juice, similar to the Spheriod (no idea if I'm spelling that correctly). They also make a smaller version that is just for dripping that holds about 1ml.
High End: Nemesis
Mid Priced: Legacy
Low Priced: Any of the crap that China is putting out.
Before you jump on me about my take on the cheap stuff, if you haven't actually used anything but those, buy a Nemesis and then talk to me about it. If you think driving a Kia is "just like" driving a...
Cisco will be at Vapestock and I'm sure you will be able to grab a 357 there. ;)
Edit: Whoops, I thought Avidvaper was going to be at Vapestock but it doesn't look like they will be. I'd be surprised if Cisco didn't come since he's been to every one of them.
It's a bit of a balancing act to have good contact and have a flush mount. It can definitely be done, but what happens is that every time you unscrew the atty, the positive screw screws in a tiny bit, and that's enough to lose the connection. I find that if it's set up with a tiny gap, you're...
Set up a second rope wick. This time I boiled it first and it tastes perfect! Also, this is the first time I've been able to use any genesis atty with the fill hole screw in place. There's no question that the rope wicks much better than any mesh.
Got my 7x19 5/32" ss rope today and set up a coil. I torched it red hot for about 3-4 full minutes. I added a small piece of oxidized 500 mesh to the top for the coil. 3/2 wrap of 0.6 ribbon giving me 0.7Ω. So far, and I've only been using it for 30 minutes, it is wicking great. I don't think a...
This is what I bought. 316 Stainless Steel Wire Rope 7x19 3 32" | eBay
It's 3/32" or 2.38mm. I wanted to start with something a bit smaller in diameter as it's supposed to wick well anyways and I'm not a fan of slow heating coils, which I believe will be the case if the cable is fatter.
Should...
Ok, after reading and viewing the umpteenth glowing review of ss rope, I went ahead and ordered some! I have incredible self control, don't I????
The only thing that worries me about it is that it takes a little while (couple of seconds) to heat up from what I've heard. I'm hoping that it wicks...
I was going to try some of the cable but, frankly, I have never had a wicking problem so I see no reason for it. I suppose if I DID have a wicking problem it might be something I'd try.
No ohm limit but use good high drain batts like AW. You must have a dead short being created to fry the spring though. I had an Aga but threw it away when I saw that they used silicone insulators that compressed out of shape. I hate to sound like a clone hater but you might consider buying a...
Screwing the adjustable positive post with a metal screwdriver will not cause a short unless you're pushing the firing button at the same time which I'm quite sure you're not doing. The spring collapses only if you have a dead short. What atty are you using? Did you check the resistance of the...
