Capt! Great to see you here! Maybe you can answer a few questions on the ribbon wire.
I found it in Nichrome, but not Kanthal. Which are you using?
What width and thickness are you and Dino using?
Do you know where it's available?
Dino, I noticed that you've reversed the assembly of the nuts on the positive post. Interesting idea. Was it easier to tighten down? Also, should you, or anyone else, find a source for the ribbon wire, please let us know. I can't fiind it anywhere!
Thanks.
They are Panasonic NCR18650B batteries and have a max discharge rate of 6.8 amps. Here is the same battery in button top. 3400mAh Protected Panasonic 18650 battery cell by Orbtronic
They are a bit longer than AW's but should fit in the Poldiac. I believe that the AW's can handle 10 amp discharge...
Take your sweet time Jim. Anything I ask for at this oint is just a "want" not a "need". I'm in a very happy vaping place right now with my Poldiac and Did's.
Hold on a minute now Jim! If my eyes are not deceiving me, this is NEW! New top cap for the Poldiac and new bottom cap for the D20 DID and we have the HyDid???? If this is correct, are you going to add the matching slots into these pieces?
I have to respectfully disagree that the sc fruit flavors are the same from VZ and ECX. I love the VZ Mango and Blackberry at 3%. I bought the same flavors from ECX and, to me, they are not the same. Similar, yes, but I much prefer the VZ product.
I have no idea why that rant was posted here. Must have been a mistake. I only have this to add. I don't even know what cigs cost anymore but I'd have to guess that, on average, people spend about $40-$50 a week? This, I can't afford a quality PV stuff drives me crazy. People go and buy the...
Hill Giant, the easiest way to fix it is to disassemble it and put it back together. Use this video to assist you and follow it step by step. The button disassembly starts at 17:20.

So I entered the "Rick Zone" of ultra low resistance coils yesterday, and I learned a valuable lesson. As I'm happily vaping away this morning, I started to notice that the vape was feeling a bit on the weak side so I checked my battery. It was down to 3.1 volts. Yikes! Moral of the story is that...
The wrap with the silica sleeve around the inner ss mesh is called (for lack of a better name) the Chimichanga. It worked fine but I didn't like the way the silica sleeves would shed fine particles! It sounds like your Burrito wick either has shorts or your air hole is not aligned with the wick...
m00nshake, it sounds like you're using a two piece silica wick. If you want to use silica, just fold over the end of a 2" piece about 1/2" , wrap your coil and drop it in. Like this.
As AJ said, a Burrito wick is just a SS mesh wick with silica inside it.
I use the AW's as well and they are just fine. The MNKE 18650's have a much higher maximum discharge rate so they work better for ultra low resistance coils (below 1.0Ω). They seem to put out > 3.9volts longer before dropping off. I change out my batts around 3.8 volts so even though they are a...
