Ingenuous! Looks like you slightly depress the firing button and turn the cap to hide/lock the button. :thumbs: With the button exposed, fully pressing it fires it! :vapor: Oh I need a Poldiac badly. :drool:- Pete54

For those of us who don't use or have a mechanical PV that can pump out over 15 watts, this may be something you want to try. When using a thick ss wick, it acts like a heat sink so in order to get a more instantaneous hit, you need to use a very low ohm coil at over 15 watts. On something like...- Pete54

I like the idea of using magnets too. I think that one of those resettable fuses like this ElectronicStix.Com : The ShortStop Self Resetting Mod Fuse By Holocron Labs - theshortstop would be preferable to a hot spring. While it costs more, it would allow for a shorter overall PV length I believe.- Pete54

Stormy's is a first class vendor. If the site says Joye ..... that's what they are. I use different equipment but if I was looking for an inexpensive, easy to use, effective setup, I'd say that you pretty much nailed it. In my opinion, 500 by far! Do you have the screw in the fill hole? If so, you may want to try it without the screw. I've never had a Genesis atty wick well without an open hole to equalize the pressure.- Pete54
