    Perhaps mrcrunch is using standard mode and you are using Eco? Not sure why someone would not use eco mode as I found a substantial improvement (20%) in run time.

    I'm not sure how some people get the total joules numbers they do out of the same batteries I use but I usually get about 25k total joules using 25R's in Eco mode. Just finished using my first 30Q and hit 32.9k. The 265° is due to using titanium.

    Concerning Ti wire, the sources sedge posted are great. DO NOT buy the stuff from Zipivf. It is coated with what appears to be graphite and requires serious cleaning to get it all off. Also, it is springy as all get out compared to Unkamen.

    I agree. Ti setting is needed. Since switching from Ni to Ti I just don't ever see going back to Ni. Easy enough to work around though. I just set the temp to between 260° and 300°. Also, being able to select the display timeout in any mode. You could select "0" for stealth mode!

    This is a problem with some early batches. Just contact the vendor you purchased it from as Yihi is making good on all units with this problem. FYI the newer ones do not suffer from this issue.
