Zappa, SRV and PTree are definitely three of my favorites. Early Zappa (with the Mothers of Invention) especially Freak Out, Absolutely Free and of course WOIIFTM are all spectacular, and Hot Rats is IMO Zappa at his best.- Pete54

One more quick thing I've noticed. No matter how good or bad the set up is initially, after allowing the chip to do it's refinement voodoo by letting it sit for 15 minutes or so, it seems to improve dramatically. -

Ya Mike, I seem to always make that mistake when talking about nickel builds. Yes I meant 0.11 to 0.17Ω. I guess I just got lucky on my first several contact coils because they were stable and worked excellent. I'll try the spaced coil next. -

My connections are tight and the 0.07Ω base is stable. I'm going to pull the build and do a hand wrapped contact coil right now to see. My hand wrapped coils are decent, not perfect, but decent. The coiler makes ridiculously perfect coils though. I'll know the answer shortly! -

This is strange. I've been hand wrapping 28g contact Ni200 coils for a while now. About 12 wraps on a 3mm rod gives me about 0.15Ω and has worked great. Now I have a Kuro Coiler that wraps perfect contact coils and the same coil comes out 0.07Ω every time. Is it possible that perfect contact... -

After noticing nobody else's serial numbers included a numeral as I thought mine did "7", I looked again and the 7 is a Z. -

Efest may not be as shady as everyone thinks.
As someone has already stated, Efest does not manufacture batteries, they re-wrap them and then put misleading specs on the wrapper so that people who bought them can get all defensive when this is brought to their attention.- Pete54

I'll be brief and keep it simple. I don't buy batteries from companies that re-wrap cells and then restate the specs incorrectly. Why would I choose to buy a re-wrapped battery in the first place, when I can buy the actual battery from the actual manufacturer? The new wrapper doesn't magically...- Pete54

I've been using 28g and contact coils with no issues whatsoever so I have to disagree with the take that contact coils somehow create a short. Just my 2 cents. -

I like it Q. The only problem I would have is that if the atty you use is on the shorter side, like the Origen v2 Genny, I don't think the drip tip would clear the top. It would be nice to have some sort of add on for shorter atty's and a spring loaded 510 connector would be nice as well. -

Quite a scuttlebutt going on about Aspire using chrome plated brass for the inner tank section of the Nautlius. Word is that the Atlantis may be the same way. Apparently the chrome can flake off the brass into your juice. Also, Q you almost got me on that pic!!!.:facepalm: -

I wonder if it's the connections being affected by the cold outside. Perhaps with the metals contracting everything loosens up a tiny bit? Easy way to find out would be to tighten the connections while out side and see if that solves this issue. -
