Inductance has little to nothing to do with thermodynamics. We aren't creating heat though magnetism. chokes are used to filter static interference that would make high quality speakers sound like vinyl.
Light bulbs have low/no resistance post and the entire length of the filament glows.
 And I'm the obtuse one...
Just eyeballing it, my legs are very close to the same length of yours. Is it practical to do so in an IGO-L...No, but that wasn't the point. The point was to show that hot legs are not a myth. The video clearly shows this. My coil was not empty, it was...
I didn't ask you to do lab experiments ad nausea, just asked a few questions. If you dont feel that it is worth your time to backup and defend your own statements, then it's easier for me to debunk them.
Since you dont want to answer the questions, I'll cut to the chase. I shot a short video...
Dear Great Master Coil Builder,
First I must apologize for not realizing that any opposition, no matter how valid, would automatically fall into your closed-minded and judgmental categorizes of stubborn and obtuse. I also apologize for for any burden that you endured while coming down off...
M3 or #4 will fit in the hole, but won't thread into the button. You'll need to cut new threads to get the original button to work with a typical screw.
The #8 "no modification needed" spring delete mod:
I used a little Teflon tape to tighten up the threads a little, but it isnt required. Unscrew the post and fit it by trial and error. Do NOT over tighten as it will damage the battery. Adjust the post until the cap will screw in...
I would recommend a flat head machine crew, available at you local home improvement store.
Pan head isnt going to have much contact surface on a flat battery.
Efficiency loss is one factor that will affect battery life, but it's largely unknown unless you do the measurements yourself or have a datasheet for the specific regulator that you are using (like the PTR08100 used in the evercool mods). Efficiency also changes based on conditions. Some...
You have one half of the battery drain equation correct....

Definitely a change from original design. I ordered mine from Hoosier's right after it was released. But that is a good modification as mine will unscrew the entire switch if I tighten down the lock ring too much.
Since it was never explained as to how, I feel obliged to explain as to how it's not.
Treat a parallel setup as 2 separate 2.4Ω single coils, and do the calculations:
4v / 2.4Ω = 1.67A per coil.
Since they have the same current source, the sum of the currents will equal...
PG: Mio drink flavors, liquid medicines, health care/hygiene/cosmetics, and as a feed additive to treat ketosis in livestock (I buy my PG from Tractor Supply Co :D).
VG: The list is magnormus. It is listed as glycerin on the label as that is it's proper name. Where the Vegetable came from...
Waterproof also means gas proof, so that's bad to go. Mech mods and batteries without a protection circuit can be cleaned and dried. A good mech mod will be shock/drop resistant. Lastly, those among us that work on things in the military know the irony of "MIL-SPEC". ;)
There is an underlying problem with the switch. You shouldn't be having this problem even at much lower resistance than you are running. I have no problems below 1ohm on mine. I would try to disassemble, clean, and probably sand the inside bore if the switch housing...or look for a replacement...
